Aira Shiratori and Jiji vs. Takonoka Ru Patcho, Ta Komeshi and Suda Ko is a battle that took place in Empty Space opened inside Kamigoe City. The Kur suddenly ambushed Aira, Jiji and their friends, hoping to use their bodies as batteries to accelerate the warp of their main fleet. While returning home from school, the two are approached by Takonoka Ru Patcho, Ta Komeshi and Suda Ko, immediately opening fire.
Prologue[]
Behind the school buildings, the Family reunites to not have their conversations eavesdropped by the other students. Here, Jiji showcases his ki training by emitting it forward through his palm, generating a strong wind that bent some trees back. He informs the others that Seiko has taught him and he constantly honed his ki going forward, believing that he won't be of use to anyone if he can't even handle the Evil Eye's power.

Jiji and Aira walk back home from school together while Momo goes to her part time job and Okarun accompanies Bamora to the Ayase residence. Hearing about Momo's job, Aira asks Jiji if he knows anything about it, revealing that it's for a maid cafe. Aira giggles and decides she should visit her to make fun of her, so Jiji proposes to come along to also because Okarun has already been there. This shocks Aira and she wonders if that's the type of girl Okarun likes, thinking if she should go work there too. Just then, the Kur Advance Unit coordinates their attacks and they teleport to the locations of the Family, specifically Aira and Jiji's, Okarun's and lastly Momo's, whose powers they had discovered following their raid at the Serpo' base and their position accidentally broadcasted by Jiji using Bamora's suit. Hearing a loud buzzing noise, the two turn around and notice the three aliens Takonoka Ru Patcho, Suda Ko and Ta Komeshi engaging them in combat after activating empty space.

Immediately, Takonoka Ru Patcho unleashes a barrage of missiles towards the duo, Suda Ko focuses a railgun shot onto Aira and lastly Ta Komeshi activates his shockwave field. Jiji can only leap out of harm's way and run to safety but Aira transforms with her Acrobatic Silky powers and targets Takonoka Ru Patcho, mad that she has to constantly fight in her school attire. Before she can land a powerful kick however, the alien deploys four disks in front of him, generating an electric zone that blocks her attack and electrocutes her. At the same time, the guided missiles loop around and explode onto the electric shield, though Aira reacted quickly and pulled herself away with her hair to avoid the crash zone. This left her in a vulnerable position for Suda Ko to take advantage, aligning his railgun and emitting a powerful beam that struck Aira and sent her flying through a house and fall on the street below. Looking up, she sees Suda Ko charging up a second shot so she quickly stands up and evades the projectile. She slings herself up in the air and observes Jiji running away from Ta Komeshi's shockwave field.

As Aira keeps weaving through rockets, she shouts at him to switch with the Evil Eye if he can't keep up. Jiji declines because the yokai had promised to only fight with Okarun yet Aira warns him that she can't both defend him and hold her own against the two aliens who are targeting her. Jiji tells her to take care of the big ones while he focuses on the tiny sniper Suda Ko, planting his feet firm into the ground and emitting ki through his palm, causing the alien to be hurled and lose control. Jiji celebrates but he barely notices Ta Komeshi approaching him, and with no time to avoid the attack, he tries releasing a second ki blast. This fails and he's overwhelmed by Ta Komeshi's shockwave field, forcing him to fall down to the ground. Seeing this, Aira rushes forward despite still being attacked by Takonoka Ru Patcho to help him. She spots a bucket of water on the ground and she picks it up, throwing it towards Jiji in the attempt to bring out the Evil Eye. Upon entering the blast area, the bucket is incinerated and the water starts evaporating at an alarming speed, but despite this, a single drop manages to come into contact with Jiji's skin. The boy on the ground stands up, seemingly unphased by the high gravity field, and the Evil Eye shows himself, asking why these random idiots are attacking him.

The Evil Eye asks Ta Komeshi the meaning of his assault but he's interrupted by Aira, ordering him to eliminate the enemy. The yokai recognizes her, stating that he hates her and that he's keeping the promise he made with Okarun. Aira begs him to help her or they won't be able to return to the real world while she evades Suda Ko's railgun shots and the guided missiles. Out of nowhere, Ta Komeshi dashes to the Evil Eye by using his jets and deploys six mechanical arms with blunt ends like mallets, striking him repeatedly and keeping him still. The yokai doesn't fight back and simply accepts the hits, however this gives time for Ta Komeshi to charge a devastating anti-gravity beam, releasing it from his belly and destroying the entire neighborhood. This cataclismic attack knocks out the Evil Eye, shocking Aira who realizes how dangerous the enemies she's facing are. Out of nowhere, she's hit by Suda Ko's projectile and flung back into the electrical shield deployed by Takonoka Ru Patcho, rendering her unable to move due to the electricity contorting her muscles. Now vulnerable, the alien doesn't hold back and discharges another huge set of missiles that carpet bomb the area she's in, burning it to the ground. Aira loses her strength and undoes her transformation, collapsing on the street floor and ending the fight.
Aftermath[]

The trio reunites over the defeated humans and Takonoka Ru Patcho exits his exosuit, revealing his true nature as a space octopus. He remarks that they were quite fast and eliminated them in under three minutes, considering that the abundant moisture of Earth obstructed the use of their laser technology and also since the heavy gravity of the planet meant that the humans' bodies were very tough in general. He decides to return to their base before they run out of time and approaches Aira to capture her when she suddenly envelops herself and the Evil Eye in a yarn. Takonoka Ru Patcho did not expect her to still be conscious and scurries back to his suit, covered by Suda Ko who blasts a hole through the hair with his railgun. Everybody freezes up when they discover that the humans are gone but Takonoka Ru Patcho determines that they can't be far. Suda Ko suggests his allies to use the exosuit's life-sign detection feature to track her, however mysterious white orbs clutter their interface, rendering it useless. They quickly decide to bombard the surrounding area with their arsenal, hoping to take them down before they get away, though this fails too. Their exosuits then start beeping, indicating that they must be recharged and they teleport back to their base, closing the empty space.
Aira surfaces with the unconscious Evil Eye, who she carried underground with her hair through the sewer system to escape the carpet bombing of the aliens. Aira collapses next to the yokai but she finds the strength to carry on, realizing that she has to warn the others of the deadly aliens' presence, although Okarun is already fighting Hastur and his allies. Presumably, Aira carried Evil Eye back to the Ayase residence before losing consciousness. Thankfully, Mr. Mantis Shrimp and Chiquitita were there, the former having already rescued Okarun from the ambushers. Here, he puts them to rest and takes care of their injuries.
