Aliens (宇宙人 Uchūjin?) is a term that refers to the various extraterrestrial beings existing in outer space (excluding humans inhabiting the planet Earth). It is also a classification for beings who have traveled to and from a foreign planet. According to Rokuro Serpo, there are approximately 666 known alien species within the current galactic system.
They act as one of the central antagonists in Dandadan, along with several yokai.
Overview[]
While the various races of aliens within the galactic system have made themselves known amongst each other, humanity remains the only known species who are foreign to their existence, with only a few humans who believe that they are real based off a series of conspiracy theories. Three reasons for this are the occurrences of Empty Space, a dimension casted by aliens that conceals their activity to humans, with the exception of those who are spiritually aware, aliens choosing to keep extra-terrestrial life a secret by blending in with their kind using disguises and huge cover-ups mandated by the government, as seen for the Byakuja Village Incident for example.
Aliens are technologically more advanced than what humans are currently capable of achieving, such as possessing spaceships, holograms, teleportation devices, and nanoskin. For long-distance warps, aliens necessitate mediating systems to transmit the passengers or large objects, such as the pyramids or the Kofun burial mounds. The former for example were used to transport human bodies to planets with advanced medical facilities since the mummies, based on Okarun's knowledge, are an attempt to preserve human bodies so aliens can wear them to survive under Earth's gravity and disguise themselves between humans.
Knowing that they possess highly advanced science and technology, humans have questioned as to why aliens haven't taken the opportunity to invade Earth. Upon his confrontation with the Serpo, who targeted him for his yokai powers, Okarun theorized that aliens are unable to commence an invasion due to the existence of the yokai all over the world who have powers that surpass their science and technology. Since this is supposedly the case, Okarun also believes that aliens seek to capture humans who somehow came in possession of yokai powers and study them to develop the science needed to combat against the yokai themselves.
According to Okarun, studies suggest that spiritually sensitive individuals are more likely to witness UFOs, implying a possible link or shared nature between spirits and extraterrestrials. This connection in the series has so far only been reinforced by the Flatwoods Monster being affected by Seiko's barrier, a protective field designed specifically to repel evil spirits and those cursed by them. Aliens are confirmed to possess auras too after Momo was able to spot Reptilian's, however Count Saint-Germain states that only humans can utilize yokai powers despite these abilities being engrained into the person's aura, meaning the aliens' auras are different than humans' in some way.
Furthermore, some individuals in the cosmos have made themselves well-known. Rokuro for example states that Ludris is all knowing and all powerful, with the nanoskin technology he possesses being considered a masterpiece in his eyes. It is also said to be a miracle to encounter him even once as he constantly travels and he's very enigmatic. Count Saint-Germain is too revered in the galaxy and the Serpo are very wary of his actions such as when he mysteriously collaborated with the Kur before anybody even knew they were coming to the Milky Way.

The Serpo Aliens (セルポ星人 Serupo Seijin?) are an entirely identical male race native to Planet Serpo who possess psychokinesis, cybernetic tools installed in their groins, and specialize in advanced technology. While their true appearance are slug-like bipedal creatures, they choose to wear human male disguises.

who have the heads of crabs and strong bipedal humanoid bodies. As a warrior race their bodies are suitable for fighting, possessing immense strength and an immunity to venom. They are capable of fighting on both land and underwater, with the latter environment being where their strength is amplified, however, since they don't possess gills, their time spent underwater is limited by their breathing capacity. are also capable of shapeshifting into a heightened form where their strength is greatly increased.

The Sumerians (シュメール人 Shumēru Hito?) are a race native to Planet Sumer who heavily resemble the human race on Earth, with their sole unique feature being antennas adorning their heads. After Sumer was invaded by the Kur, the Sumerians ended up being on the verge of extinction, with Bamora being the sole surviving child of the race.
Jet Booster Exosuit Kur's Species[]

The Jet Booster Exosuit Kur and her husband on their planet.
They heavily resemble the human race on Earth, with their sole unique feature being their pointy ears. Her species was presumably wiped out when the Kur invaded the planet, forcing her to join their army for survival and she sought to climb the ranks and reach the Kur Emperor, assassinating him and thus avenging her husband and species.
