Vamola (バモラ Bamora?) is the hundred-oneth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
After witnessing Bamora being stabbed and thrown aside by the spatial suit alien, Momo uses her powers to catch and bring her over to her arms as she becomes distraught and confused as to who side she was on. The jet booster suit then comes in to attack Momo but is hindered by the Serpo using his psychokinesis to shield her. Despite being told by the Serpo that Bamora is her enemy and that she needed to focus on defeating the jet booster suit, Momo refuses to listen as she tries to help save Bamora by attempting to use her powers to close her wound and stop the bleeding. She then yells out to Bamora to not die as she expresses her regret for not listening to her back when she forced her to leave her side. In process of her powers coming into contact with her aura, Momo receives visions of Bamora's memories that are also sent to Aira, Jiji, Mr. Mantis Shrimp, the Serpo, and Okarun.
After her planet is invaded by the space globalists, a young Bamora is saved by one of her people named Banga who regroups with two survivors named Tome and Aja at a cave. Banga complains that she has to clean up after Bamora but is reminded by Tome and Aja that it is her responsibility to look after her since she saved her. After Tome states her belief that Bamora may very well be the last child to survive out on the battlefield, Banga gives her opinion on that it was the men who are to blame since all were killed easily, resulting in only the older women to make it out of alive. Banga also states that she refuses to look out for others if they aren't able to look out for themselves, causing Tome and Aja to look at her with suspicion as Bamora continues to cry. As the survivors continue pressing forward during the invasion, Bamora is taken care of by Banga, such as being feed, washing her clothes, and learning how to write. Banga takes Bamora to a mural depicting the god of Sumerian to explain to her their people's beliefs in how it will appear save their planet once it is on the brink of extinction. Banga tells Bamora that, despite needing to pray to the god to avoid feeling sick, she believes that the tale is utter nonsense because of her low opinion for both her people, men, and god, which made her resolve to survive their crisis by only looking after herself even if it meant sacrifices along the way.
