Let's Do an Exorcism (おはらいしようぜ Oharai Shiyō ze?) is the hundred twenty-fifth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
Rin receives a phone call from Mai's mother asking for her to come to the audition to support Mai since she feels nervous about performing without her. Before she could reject the request, Rin hears from her grandmother telling her to go, as she wants her to live her life without regrets. Rin then ends her story explaining that Mai and her mother were killed in a car accident as they were heading over to pick her up, which she feels that she is to blame for their deaths. After hearing her story, Seiko believes that the Onbusuman is Mai and that the kintama awakened her supernatural sensitivity to feel her presence. She also warns her to not let her guard down around the Onbusuman since it was no longer the Mai she used to know. While Momo points out that she does not sense the yokai, Seiko explains that the Onbusuman is hiding and that they can only draw it out and expel it by going to the audition venue. After hiring the Hayashi, a parade float being carried by a few men, and relocating to the school, Seiko explains to Momo, Okarun, and Rin that in order to have the Hayashi exorcise the Onbusuman they will have to have Mai recollect her past life by taking a route to the accident and to the audition venue while the evil spirit's inhabiting the school become drawn to the Onbusuman's gravitational pull. After the Onbusuman appears to weigh down Rin, resulting in the school's spirits awakening, Seiko gives the order to start their route, which Okarun was not ready for after being assigned float pulling duty by Seiko. The school then becomes animated to catch them heading out.
