How to Use Powers (能力の使い方 Nōryoku no Tsukaikata?) is the hundred fortieth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
After eliminating the giant chef, Unji helps to pull Momo out of the pile of candy and thanks her for saving him. Moments before the chef is defeated, Unji manages to regain his spiritual power after grabbing Okarun's kintama, however, after struggling to form one of his umbrellas, due to his spiritual power not fully recharged from his fight against the giant knight, Unji tosses the kintama to Momo and is saved from falling after she regains her psychic powers to catch him and latch onto one of the giant chef's tools, leading to its defeat afterwards. Momo complies to give the kintama back to Unji to honor his motive of wanting to beat the game but is given permission by him to hold onto it, having used up his powers and that he has come to know how strong she is, much to Momo's pleasure to hear this compliment. Momo and Unji then see two scrolls informing them that they have acquired a new card called "Nom Nom Bongo" that explains that they can obtain powers from the treats they eat and proceed to test this out, with Unji eating a donut that results in his legs being turned into rows of donuts that act likes springs, and Momo licking a lollipop that results in her body becoming sticky. Wondering how they can turn back to normal, Momo remembers that she has a card and sees that it has pictures of the giant knight and chef that they defeated. After touching the picture of the giant knight, Momo causes a shield to appear and tells Unji to do the same, resulting in the same thing happening. Momo then understand that in order to beat the game they have to defeat all the bosses. With her power also needing to be recharged after using her Moe Moe Tri-Beam, Unji figures that they will have to rely on the card and eat many different types of candy. Momo voices her joy in this plan while Unji wonders where his geta sandals are, prompting Momo to comment on how she thinks that he is an airhead and Unji replying back on how the same thing can be said about her. Unbeknownst to them, the card is shown to explain that the things the player consumes in Danmanra will allow them to become a resident of Danmanra.
