That Devil, the Fairy-Tale Card (悪魔のメルヘンカルタ Akuma no Meruhen Karuta?) is the hundred forty-ninth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
Everyone is blown away as Unji begins to transform. Turbo Granny questions why someone like him is here, having associated Unji's form with the name "Umbrella Boy", and asks Momo if she is able to use her powers. Momo says that she can't unless she has the kintama that is in Unji's possession. Satisfied with Unji's full powers, the Fairy-Tale Card voices his plan to use it to not only leave the cursed trunk but to also rain blood upon the world. Sensing danger, Momo warns everyone to use the Medusa card to turn their body to stone, protecting them from a vacuum blast unleashed by Umbrella Boy Unji's umbrella. Knowing that he can only use his umbrellas twice, Momo questions how Umbrella Boy Unji is still in his form and learns from the Turbo Granny that the Fairy-Tale Card has the ability to draw out the maximum power of any human he controls until their body destroys itself from repeated usage of their ability. Seeing Umbrella Boy Unji preparing to fire another attack, Momo, Okarun, and the Turbo Granny shield themselves using the Medusa card, though Momo takes damage on her right arm from the blast causing the stone to crack around that area. Momo yells out to Umbrella Boy Unji to not allow himself to be easily manipulated, telling him that he is not the kind of person who would hurt his friends who came to support him, and rushes in using the Dark Knight's shield and sword. The Fairy-Tale Card speaks for Unji, telling Momo that it denies her claim that he is manipulating him since it is Unji who wishes to bring about destruction to the world and that he only wants him to be true to himself. Momo prepares to use the Medusa card as Umbrella Boy Unji jumps up into with another vacuum blast ready. However, after the card slips out of her hand, Momo ends up taking the full brunt of the blast and lies on the ground badly injured, much to Okarun's shock.
