Let's Blow the Demonic Fairy-Tale Card Away! (悪魔のメルヘンカルタをぶっ飛ばせ!! Akuma no Meruhen Karuta o Buttobase!!?) is the hundred sixty-second chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
Upon their release from the cursed trunk, the Fairy-Tale Card labels Okarun, Rokuro, and Vega as cowards, declaring it disgraceful to have been overpowered by numbers. Fleeing from the Fairy-Tale Card, Okarun reveals his dilemma of being unable to transform into his Turbo Granny form after deploying All-Out twice, while Vega becomes concerned to find Unji, leading Rokuro to remark on how they are acting useless at the moment. While delaying formal introductions, Count Saint-Germain appears next to Okarun and suggests they collaborate to defeat the Fairy-Tale Card. He is quickly recognized by Rokuro, who questions his presence. Meanwhile, Okarun's bewilderment shifts towards Rin after spotting her clad in a strange outfit. After he sees Unji lying on the ground badly injured, Vega runs up to his unconscious body and desperately tries to revive him. In his subconscious, Unji envisions himself standing beside Futa until his younger brother dashes towards their parents and bids him farewell. Upon accepting this with a smile and turning to leave, Unji comes to and hears Vega shouting for him to wake up. Unji, prompted by this, tells him to hush, asserting that he won't let himself die, bringing immense relief to Vega who grasps his hand and assures him that they will head home. After the Fairy-Tale Card restores the eye card destroyed by Rokuro's particle beam, Count Saint-Germain tells him and Okarun that they must simultaneously attack the yokai's paired cards. He then inquires if Okarun can wield his power. Despite wondering how he knows about his ability to harness the Turbo Granny's power, Okarun sets aside his doubts, recalling that Momo is caught within the cursed trunk, and compels himself to summon the Turbo Granny's power, utterly ignoring the toll on his body. Count Saint-Germain then instructs Okarun and Rokuro to focus on a specific card, assigning Okarun the face card and Rokuro the eye card, but tells the latter to hold off until he gives the signal as he and Okarun attack together. Unji aids the situation by summoning one of his umbrellas, surprising the Fairy-Tale Card who believed him to be dead. This act encourages the yokai to attempt self-control in order to flee. Nevertheless, Unji is resistant to the corruption concerning his mother, affirming that he could never despise her for everything she did to safeguard her family. Enraged by Unji's immunity, the Fairy-Tale Card is dismissed by Count Saint-Germain, who advises ignoring its provocations and commands a collective assault on the yokai. The Fairy-Tale Card is then vanquished after all pf his cards are destroyed by the collective efforts of Okarun, Rokuro, Unji, and Count Saint-Germain, with Okarun revealing his determination for Momo as he comes in to attack.
