Find the Culprit! (犯人をさがせ! Hannin o Sagase!?) is the hundred sixty-ninth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
Okarun hurries back to the library to check on Momo. On his way, he encounters Sanjome, who cautions him against running in the hallways to prevent accidentally colliding with others. Sanjome then decides to follow Okarun, inquiring where he is going and what secrets he is keeping from him. Okarun requests to tell him at a different time, however, Sanjome declines, asserting that noise canceling is not his preference and proceeds to elucidate the concept to Okarun, along with his understanding of metronome synchronization and bacteria. He then inquires whether he "yields" to the knowledge just presented to him, to which Okarun consents to proceed to the library as planned. After reacting with shock, Sanjome takes out a small knife from his pocket but puts it back and walk down the hall.
Upon learning from Momo about the girl who was searching for her with a blade, Aira has Momo hide in the pocket of her blazer to later identify the assailant while they search the school. Okarun asks Momo if the girl had any distinguished features and learns from her that she had long hair and requested for her to "yield". Hearing the second part, Okarun becomes reminded of his conversation with Sanjome where the advisor used the same word. Okarun's conversation with Momo up close then leads to Aira interpreting him as intentionally speaking near her chest. Okarun tries to refute this accusation but decides to acquiesce to Aira's wish for it to be true, only to then observe Momo's disappointment upon being referred to as "four eyes" by her. Momo then breaks up the two's conversation out of frustration by using her powers to hit Okarun with a chair and demands for Aira to leave Okarun alone.
Meanwhile, the girl who had been pursuing Momo is informed by a voice seemingly from behind a door that her actions before were wrong and that she must first compel her target to yield in order to effectively steal her power. Although the girl admits she hasn't mastered control over "it" yet, the voice insists that she must surrender to "it" and tells her that she can become the self she seeks to be. The girl is then shown being encircled from behind by several small figures, similar to the small entity Momo had earlier encountered in the library.
