Summary[]
As she heads to class, Momo's hunter, Koki Yukishiro, accidently bumps into someone in the halls but is unnoticed. In the classroom, she notices a female classmate sitting in her seat and informs her. However, the girl does not take her seriously, dismissing it as the voice of a ghost nearby. Hearing This comment, Koki makes the choice to stand at the back of the room. At home, she overhears her family commending her sister, Alice, for winning the first prize, while they also disparage her for lacking talent and not being as notable as she was in her younger years. As she sits in room looking at the many rewards she achieved playing piano when she was a child, Koki questions to herself where she went wrong in her life that caused everyone to look down on her, and, out of desperation to be acknowledged once again, she uses her phone to post an anonymous photo of herself undressed. Later, a person approaches her knowing that the girl in the photo is her. Even though Koki denies her identity, the individual remains skeptical and proposes to conceal this secret from her parents and the authorities on one condition related to the power extraction knife, which he then presents to her.
The History and Culture Research Club arrive at Class E to check to see if the girl who hunted Momo is her but receive no confirmation from the classmates that they have seen the person they're looking for. After briefly attempting to draw attention through her conspicuous absence, Momo is urged by Aira to redirects her focus to locating the girl who had been searching for her and abruptly catches sight of her. Koki notices Momo as well and immediately leaves the classroom after Momo informs Aira, Okarun, and Kinta that she spotted her assailant. Jiji, who uses the time to fool around, and Bamora are then warned by Aira that the girl running away is the person their looking for and joins them in the chase. Sanjome catches the club running in the hall and authorizes them to cease this, which the group complies to do until they are out of his site. After tracking her down to another classroom, Jiji and Bamora are instructed by Momo to cover the rear exit to prevent her from exiting while Okarun and Aira enter through the front. Not wanting Aira to get hurt by Koki carrying a knife, Okarun takes the initiative to go in first. However, the two see that she is nowhere to be found.
