Those Pygmies Are Scary (小人は怖い Kobito wa Kowai?) is the one hundred seventy-second chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
Aira is urged by Momo to unravel her hair before the fire setting it ablaze reaches her. Okarun then steps in just in time, using a knife to cut off the burning lock. Cautious about the gas in the room potentially causing an explosion, Momo hands Aira a knife to cut her tangled hair while she handles putting out the fire. After the two girls block another barrage of flying knives, Momo informs Okarun that there are a million pygmies in the room, with a few climbing at his feet. Okarun urges Momo to move away from him as he takes off his shirt to remove the pygmies clinging to him. The pygmies then knit Okarun's shirt, pants, and Aira's blazer on the floor, leaving them immobile and vulnerable to a barrage of knives and toothpicks being fired. As she fights off the endless swarm of pygmies, Momo realizes that her pursuer must be controlling them from the shadows and that attacking her is the key. After Okarun and Aira opt to take off their upper clothing to prevent the pygmies from stitching them, Momo instructs them to move about the room to draw the pygmies' focus, ensuring that the pygmies aim exclusively at them. While questioning how her plan will work, Okarun swiftly dodges a barrage of oncoming knives that Momo warns him about, leaving both her and Aira astonished. Despite Momo's praise for his improved physical prowess, Okarun admits he can't keep avoiding getting cut for long. He then looks down noticing his left hand sewn to the floor by the pygmies. With Aira also stitched to the floor, they become vulnerable to the pygmies' weapons. However, Momo declares she has found the culprit, evident by the pygmies' hesitation to attack, and uses her powers to throw a desk at Kouki, who is revealed to be hiding with a camouflage cloak.
