The Class Rep's Head (いんちょーの首 Inchō no kubi?) is the one hundred eighty-fourth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
Mai seeks Aira's help to fix Rin, disclosing that the headless figures were the cause of Rin's head being forcibly removed from her body after they dunk her through a hoop. While Aira navigates the chaos, carrying Rin's head and evading the attacks of the headless figures, she observes something strange leaking out from Rin's neck and questions Mai about their identity. Mai reveals that the headless figures are called Severed Head Dribblers, basketball players who play with the heads of those who trespass into gyms at night. As she tries to calm a panicked Mai by stating the need to find the Power User to end this nightmare, Aira is startled when Rin's head speaks, alerting that Kouki is in trouble, and is shocked to see her own headless form. Meanwhile, Mai feels relief upon realizing that Rin is still alive and explains that her head is in the living world while her body is in the spirit world, which leaves her at risk of drifting in the space forever as her life force starts to leak out. After losing her footing from one of the Severed Head Dribblers' heads hitting the wall, Aira is left vulnerable to their attacks. Mai attempts to shield Aira from the launched heads with her body. However, Aira takes the hit for Mai after moving in front of her, resulting in her back being severely injured. Mai urges Aira to remain strong and calls on Rin to sing to use her power, only to be told by her that she is unable to do so without her body. Just then, one of the Severed Head Dribblers seizes Aira, preparing to throw her through the hoop and have her experience the same fate as Rin. In that critical moment, Aira recalls a childhood memory of playing dollhouse with her friends, specifically when one of them had interpreted a doll being just a head while submerged in a small tub of water. This helps her to figure out that Rin can return to normal by reversing the process of what the Severed Head Dribblers did to her. After using her Acrobatic Silky hair to grab Rin's head and have her pass under the hoop to fix her, Rin assumes her Onbusuman outfit and utilizes her gravity manipulation to push back the Severed Head Dribblers. Rin then thanks Aira for her saving her but soon becomes embarrassed when Aira takes note of her revealing outfit. She urges Aira to take cover behind her as she uses her power to fend off the attacks, but is refused after Aira asserts her role as the leader and prepares to fight alongside her.
