Summary[]
While insisting Rin in battling the Severed Head Dribblers, Aira suggests to Rin in broadening the extent of her gravitational power. Rin explains that her power has a limited field of influence and learns from Mai that this is due to her underdeveloped song delivery. The two then redirect their efforts toward locating Koki. Mai informs them that Koki is a floating head as well but is being guarded by pygmies, which complicates Aira and Rin's search as the tiny creatures obscures the girl's location. With Mai being the only one who can see Koki, she temporarily leaves Rin to reach her. As Rin, who is powerless without Mai's assistance, and Aira move through the gym, Mai instructs the pygmies to help her position Koki's head under the basketball hoop to fix her. After successfully accomplishing this task, Koki regains consciousness, her body restored, and is rescued by Aira from the Severed Head Dribblers. Koki briefly panic until she is quickly reassured by Aira and informs her that her blackmailer is Murakami, the teacher who has been scrutinizing the social media accounts of female students who have violated school rules, particularly those posting revealing photos. Aira expresses her revulsion towards Murakami's behavior and prepares to confront him in the gym to put an end to his actions. However, Rin alerts Aira that the Severed Head Dribblers are growing in size. Along with this, Aira notices the walls closing in on them and Rin's gravitational range becoming narrower. To make matters worse, Mai informs Rin that she cannot continue singing without a break and has only five minutes left until her power runs out. Aira begins to feel overwhelmed, believing it will be difficult to defend against the giant Severed Head Dribblers while also protecting Rin and Koki. She then asks Koki to instruct the pygmies to search for Murakami in the gym. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Murakami is actually in his apartment, observing the battle while pedaling on an exercise bike.
