Summary[]
Hase conveys his frustration with Okarun's tactics in their battle after he and Kinta join forces in a robot suit, feeling that Okarun is underestimating him. Although Okarun claims they have weakened after merging, Kinta dismisses this notion and launches an attack on Hase using his "Blast Wind Thrust Attack." Hase counters this by positioning his spring feet mechanisms against the robot's fist and uses the release of his propulsion to destroy it. Nevertheless, Kinta quickly repairs the damaged arm, and Okarun retaliates with his Pile Bunkers. While Hase looks down on Okarun for his kick, Kinta praises his partner for the effort. Okarun tells Kinta that they still lack the ability to inflict significant damage on Hase as a combined unit and suggests that he utilize their nanoskin to create additional weapons by simplifying the robot's facial design. Kinta rejects this proposal, insisting he will not pilot a robot that lacks a "cool" appearance, much to Okarun's frustration, emphasizing that passion is what fuels his inspiration. As Kinta attempts another punch, Hase retaliates by kicking both him and Okarun into the air, destroying the robot from various angles while asserting their inferiority. Just as the robot is completely obliterated, Okarun remembers a time when Hase bullied him for his interest in UFOs. This memory prompts him to grab Hase and express his passion by asserting that the US government has officially acknowledged the existence of UFOs. He then calls for Kinta to merge with him, leading Kinta to use the nanoskin to bind Hase's legs and form wings, allowing all three to hover in the air. As Hase demands to be freed, Kinta reminds Okarun of his earlier comment about their merger making them heavier but disagrees with him in that they have become weaker, proving this by using the wings to dive down and slam Hase into the ground, knocking him out. With Hase defeated and her exosuit sparking with electricity, signaling its damage, the female alien retreats. Meanwhile, Kinta asks Okarun if he can be called colonel, to which Okarun responds with indifference.
