It's a Typhoon Direct Hit (台風直撃じゃんよ Taifū Chokugekijan Yo?) is the one hundred ninety-fifth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
Jiji alerts everyone aboard about the typhoon and the presence of flying sharks, prompting Bamora to glance out the window for verification, while the blind Unji expresses his eagerness to see them as well. Momo expresses skepticism regarding this strange phenomenon until a shark unexpectedly crashes into the plane, leaving both her and Jiji in shock. Seiko then commands everyone to grab onto something and put on oxygen masks as the plane is about to descend rapidly. Following Momo's instructions relayed through Jiji, Bamora uses her kaiju suit's gigantification ability to seal the breach. The aircraft is then attacked by additional sharks, which Jiji observes are frozen. Seiko instructs everyone to secure themselves in their seats and checks on the well-being of all passengers, including the Kito Family. Seiko, Jiji, and Momo then notice the frigid temperature inside the plane, a result of the external weather conditions, and worry that they may end up frozen like the sharks. After calling out to Seiko to check on her, Momo becomes relieved after Seiko notices her, as Seiko explains that her medication has impaired her senses. Nevertheless, she warns Momo that the situation remains dire, as she can barely perceive her presence, along with the sudden onset of the typhoon being troublesome. Momo and Jiji speculate whether the god of Shimane is responsible, suspecting that they are obstructing their journey due to the curse of the Evil Eye and Momo's own. Seiko disagrees, asserting that the god of Izumo does not deny anyone's presence. Observing a face on the typhoon, Momo realizes it is a Typhoon Human, a cryptid she learned about from Okarun, which manifests as a living typhoon, and believes it is being manipulated by someone in a manner similar to how the Serpo utilized Nessie during her second encounter. Momo and Jiji also notice that the plane is circling around the typhoon, possibly taking them to a nearby airport, and believe that they will be safe once they go back and wait for it to dissipate. However, Seiko asserts that this was not a viable option, as they will not have another opportunity to cure Momo until next year, by which time her curse will have worsen to the point of her being forgotten. Faced with no alternatives, Seiko concludes that the Typhoon Human must be eliminated, convinced that this can be achieved by targeting one of its components, with the frozen shark being central to the strategy.
