After the Ritual (儀式の後 Gishiki no Ato?) is the two hundred and tenth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
After the masked priest lifts her curse, Momo awakens in a room at an inn, surprised to find herself sleeping beside Bamora. She soon encounters a inn employee who offers her coffee. Concerned, Momo asks about her grandmother's whereabouts, only to be stunned when she learns that Seiko has been hospitalized due to an injury. The employee then offers to arrange a car for her after Momo decides to quickly head to the hospital she is at. Before she leaves, Momo informs the employee that someone she is unfamiliar with had been in her room earlier.
Upon arriving at the hospital, Momo enters Seiko's room and overhears her grandmother bickering with Jiji about wanting to eat arabiki sausage. Jiji insists she follow the doctor's orders and eat only small portions. Momo shows herself and asks why Seiko is in the hospital, much to Seiko and Jiji's shock to see Momo returned to her normal size. Seiko immediately rises from her bed and embraces her, leaving Momo confused by the sudden affection. Jiji expresses relief and happiness at Momo's recovery, but when she asks who he is, both he and Seiko are taken aback. Seiko asks if she remembers him, and Momo is shocked to learn that the stranger is Jiji, her childhood friend, and questions why he is here. This leaves Seiko and Jiji in stunned silence as they begin to grasp the implications of her memory loss.
Meanwhile, at a shrine, Manjiro trains Okarun on how to access his ki through hand stances and daily chores, a way to repay the shrine priest for offering them shelter. As Okarun sweeps the grounds, his thoughts drift to Momo and her eventual return from Shimane. Back at the hospital, Momo firmly denies the existence of aliens when questioned by Seiko and Jiji.
