You're Bothered, Aren't You? (気にしてるじゃんか Ki ni Shiteru jan ka?) is the twenty-third chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
After Okarun identifies the creature below as Nessie, he, Momo, and Aira immediately swim away as it starts to attack the Serpo despite the aliens hiring it to target Momo. While swimming down below them, the enhanced crab alien sends out an underwater shockwave punch to hit Aira and send her upwards to the watery ceiling to drown. Despite stating to them that his punches are stronger underwater, the enhanced crab alien reveals to Momo and Okarun that he does not have gills to breath underwater after he starts to drown and swim up to get some air. With an opportunity to counterattack, Okarun enters his Turbo Granny form to use his enhanced leg strength to swim faster but unfortunately finds out that he can't after sinking. After reverting back, the two continue swimming away from the enhanced crab alien's attacks. Okarun tells Momo that he will draw the alien's attention while she goes to help Aira. Momo finds the idea to be troublesome and ends up arguing with Okarun after bringing up his earlier incident with Aira at school. Believing that she is bothered by the event, Okarun tells Momo that he will use this time to explain fully as to what really happened at the time. However, Okarun's chance is interrupted by the enhanced crab alien after he dives down to save Momo from being hit by the alien's underwater shockwave heading towards them. This action then results in Momo developing the idea of using her powers on Okarun to have him act as a living speedboat in order to move faster in the water. While riding on top of him, Momo sends Okarun upwards to catch Aira and uses her powers to force the water out from her body to have her breathing again. Seeing as how the extra water resistance from their clothes is making it difficult to move, Momo strips down to her underwear and tells Aira to do the same despite her objection.
While down below, the enhanced crab alien notices a Serpo swimming near him and asks that he be given a little more time to hunt them down. However, he becomes shocked to find that it was only a severed head that was caused by Nessie. A Serpo then swims towards the enhanced crab alien to use his body cables to fuse with the latter and Nessie as a way to better make use of each of their abilities. As Momo, Okarun, and Aira prepare to dive down to face their enemies again, the three suddenly look down to see the large, fused creature.
