Let's Go to the Cursed House (呪いの家へレッツゴー Noroi no Ie e Rettsu Gō?) is the thirty-second chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
After finishing playing a game of cards on a train heading to Jiji's village, Okarun becomes concerned with Momo having a good time talking to Jiji after he brings out her favorite snacks. Momo notices Okarun looking uneasy and asks him what was wrong. Okarun then responds saying his kintama, causing Momo to laugh at him for his focus on this one thing. Jiji interprets this as them saying dirty jokes but is told by Momo that that was not the case. As the two continue to have a pleasant conversation, Okarun brings up the topic of the tsuchinoko to gain Momo's attention. Though he manages to become successful in doing so, the attention soon shifts to Jiji after he mentions that there is a shrine dedicated to the tsuchinoko in his village. Okarun then attempts to regain attention by mentioning the fact that there is shrine dedicated to a kappa. Jiji becomes intrigued by this fact and questions to Okarun if the cryptid Nessie also exists as well. Okarun then finds himself having a pleasant conversation with Jiji and is told by the latter that he respects him as a friend by how impressed he knows things. After Okarun takes note at how Jiji called him a friend, Jiji explains that it is because he is friends with Momo and asks if he can also count him as his friend. Okarun gives no refusal to this after stating that he is awkward, which causes Momo to feel flustered from this Ken Takakura quote. He then questions in his head on why it is hard for him to dislike Jiji.
After arriving at the village, Momo takes note in delight of the hot springs around. Jiji states that the hot springs are related to his father's line of work where he studies volcanoes, which is the reason why his family moved to the village. Momo then questions if the village volcano will erupt. Jiji assures her that the volcano is dormant since it hasn't erupted for about 200 years. After walking up a flight of stairs, the three arrive at the Enjoji house. Momo says that she does not sense anything out of the ordinary and suggests taking the time to rest. While on the ground exhausted from walking, Okarun notes a few shadowy figures in the woods but pays them no mind as he walks inside the house. The shadowy figures are then revealed to be a group people who have been observing Momo, Okarun and Jiji.
