Where's The Tsuchinoko Monster? (ツチノコはどこ Tsuchinoko wa Doko?) is the thirty-fifth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.

Summary[]

Okarun listens with Jiji as one of the women that appeared at the door earlier speaks and learns from the latter that the people in the living room are his landlords known as the Kito Family and asks that he feign ignorance to the fact that they damaged the house that he has covered up since it is a rental. After Jiji is questioned by the woman on his sudden disappearance, he explains that he left to invite Okarun over to his house. The woman then asks Jiji if he is planning on hiring any more spirit mediums and hears from him that he does not, prompting her to bring out a shotgun to tell him, in the form of a threat, about her hunting license. Jiji tells the woman that even though she has a license she will get arrested by the police for pointing a gun at someone. This then leads to the male Kito Family members, who confronted Momo earlier at the hot spring, arriving with a police officer who helped to bail them out from being chased down by the residents. Hearing from Jiji that Okarun is his good friend, one of the men asks Okarun if he knows what Jiji's favorite soccer team is to see if this was true. Okarun manages to answer correctly based on the soccer poster covering the hole in the wall. However, the woman catches Jiji lying after he denies that he brought over a girl to his house.

Momo chooses to pay a visit to the Tsuchinoko shrine and sees the shrine priest doing a hand stance as an act of wanting to become a Bootuber. Momo then becomes disappointed by what is presented as the Tsuchinoko, prompting the shrine priest to tell her about the Tsuchinoko's legend concerning human sacrifices being made in the past to prevent the village volcano from erupting and that what she is seeing is the shed skin of the Tsuchinoko on display. Afterwards, Momo returns to the house and finds Okarun and Jiji beaten on the floor by the Kito Family.
