Mongolian Death Worms Are Deadly (モンゴリアンデスワームはやばい Mongorian Desu Wāmu wa Yabai?) is the thirty-eighth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
After he sees Okarun starting to act strange in front of him, Jiji moves him and Momo away from Tsuchinoko's attack, realizing that it is able detect sound inside the house. Jiji then stops Okarun from stabbing his neck with a pair of scissors and hears him wanting to commit suicide, causing Jiji to flashback to when his mother told him the same thing after he prevented her and his father from committing suicide. Momo also prepares to commit suicide as well by stabbing herself with a piece of glass but is blocked by the Turbo Granny who mysteriously appears between the piece of glass and Momo, much to her complaint. Listening to the Turbo Granny, Jiji ties up Momo and Okarun from making attempts to commit suicide and learns from her that the Tsuchinoko is the cause due to it emitting psychic waves to have the people of the house become suicidal, making him realize what had happened to his parents. Jiji then asks the Turbo Granny why he isn't affected but is attacked by Momo being mind-controlled before she could answer and tries avoiding the Tsuchinoko's attacks as he carries Momo, Okarun, and the Turbo Granny. After rushing outside leads to him facing the Tsuchinoko, Jiji looks away in fear but turns back around to see the evil spirit that has been haunting his house right in front of him.
