Summary[]
Okarun briefly clashes with the Evil Eye and quickly gets Momo to safety at the top. After informing her that the Tsuchinoko is planning to fill the lair with venom while remaining hidden underground, Okarun tells Momo that she needs to be the one to escape while he handles Jiji. Momo becomes reluctant to leave Okarun behind but chooses to put her faith in him after hearing how serious he is and promises to come back for him. Using a chair, Okarun launches Momo up towards the ceiling and sees her managing to make it out. Okarun then faces the Evil Eye after he comes up and tells him that he won't let him get away with hurting Momo earlier. Momo attempts to create a rope for Okarun using the curtains but sees that it is too short to reach him, much to her disappointment and distress with having to deal with the other predicaments she has to face. However, after remembering a childhood memory she had with Jiji, Momo manages to come up with a plan and takes action by setting fire to the house.
