Argument (ケンカ Kenka?) is the eighty-ninth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.

Summary[]

Aira states her intentions on getting payback on her enemies with Jiji adding on by saying that the payback will be twice as much, which results in him being kicked by her for saying it incorrectly. While receiving treatment from Mr. Mantis Shrimp, Momo becomes happy to see them doing well. Aira complains to Momo that they are not well and blames the Evil Eye for their loss. Mr. Mantis Shrimp tells Momo to get some rest and that her wounds should heal in about six hours. Momo thanks him for helping her while becoming curious about the cushion devices he applied to her broken arm. Mr. Mantis Shrimps says that he only brought them so that he doesn't know how they function. Aira asks Momo where her grandmother is, since she believes that she will be capable of beating their enemies, and is informed by her that Seiko is at Hokkaido on a business trip and is unfortunately unable to contact her due to her not having a phone. She becomes disappointment by this and concern as to when their enemies might strike again. After looking at Okarun recuperating, Momo asks Jiji about the Evil Eye's situation. Jiji explains that the Evil Eye has no interest in fighting anyone other than Okarun due to their contract. Not thinking much of the yokai as an ally, Aira asks about Bamora. Momo tells them that she kicked her out and that she is a spy sent by the enemy. Aira throws a tantrum after figuring that she was right not to trust her. On the other hand, Jiji defends Bamora, saying that it was not her that revealed her true identity since she couldn't speak their language and that their enemies may not have been so fluent when speaking to her. Momo then gets into an argument with Jiji on how she denies this was not likely. This causes Okarun to speak to ask that they return to getting along. After Momo, Aira, and Jiji come to his bedside in relief to see him able to talk, Okarun asks if they are okay and becomes reassured that they are. He then apologizes to Momo for allowing the enemy to take his kintama. After telling him that she accepts the situation and that she will simply have to retrieve it back, Momo starts to panic after Okarun becomes quiet. Mr. Mantis Shrimp tells Momo to calm down and puts back the life support cord in his mouth, explaining that he removed it in order to speak to them since he was bothered by Momo and Jiji arguing earlier.

Outside, Momo brings Aira, Jiji, and Mr. Mantis Shrimp out to show them the torsoless Serpo she brought with her, much to their shock. Momo hears the Serpo complaining about how she left him outside alone and tells him that he was in no position to be on her property. After informing them that she plans on using him, Momo tells the Serpo that the enemy stole Okarun's kintama. The Serpo figures that this would happen, believing that their enemies are outer space globalists who are attempting to invade Earth with a main force and are planning on using Okarun's kintama as an energy source. A glimpse of the main force is then shown in space.
