The Combat-Use Simulator is a piece of Serpo technology with the ability to display enemies as holograms for the purposes of training.
Appearance[]
The device appears to be a mix of a nautilus and some kind of invertrebrate animal due to the spiraling shell with alternating dark and light segments, and the sturdy tentacles at its entrance, with five of them on each side.
Overview[]
They are flying objects which can scan images contained in the wielder's retinas for a maximum of 36 hours before use and reproduce a three dimensional version of the enemy data. The attacks released by the holograms don't seem to produce any physical damage, although they do have real impact and gravity as Mr. Mantis Shrimp was launched back after being hit by a hologram of a projectile. They release a tiny sound and light after having succesfully analyzed an eye.

While making their way inside the abandoned basement of the collapsed Nagi Hospital while being led by Rokuro Serpo, multiple devices approached the group and pointed at them. Momo immediately thought of betrayal by part of Rokuro until a simulator scanned her eyes and displayed Imotako she fought back at Moe Moe Kikoho. Rokuro then explained their purpose and deemed them necessary to prepare for the invasion which was five days away. Jiji, Aira and an unconscious Okarun's retinas were analyzed too, displaying the menacing big group of aliens who had attacked them.
The four of them along with Mr. Mantis Shrimp first faced against the holograms of Takonoka Ru Patcho, Ta Komeshi and Suda Ko, putting up a terrible performance. Aira was enraged because they lost against the only aliens with known fighting data and proceeded to berate her friends, starting with Momo's special attack which she claimed was useless because of its short range and huge power consumal. She then moved onto Jiji's haa wave which did no damage and insulted Mr. Mantis Shrimp because he couldn't land a single hit.
