The Dark Knight (暗黒騎土 Ankoku Kishi?) was one of the three guardian deities in Danmara keeping the Fairy-Tale Card locked away. In accordance with the functionality of the dimension, his defeat led to not only the yokai's seal being broken but also players acquiring the Carmine (カーマイン Kāmain?) card where they could utilize his skills.

In Dandadan, he serves as a minor antagonist during the Danmara Arc.

Following Momo's unsuccessful efforts to scale the wall of National Border Hill, the Dark Knight breaches the wall of the border and casts a threatening gaze in her direction. He then initiates his assault on the player, employing his shield to unleash a cascade of debris from the shattered wall while wielding his sword to strike at her. Soon after, Unji Zuma arrives just in time to defend Momo from the giant's sword attack and unleashes a shockwave from one of his umbrellas after it meets the tip of the Dark Knight's sword, resulting in the Dark Knight being destroyed. As a result, Momo and Unji acquire the Dark Knight card, which they later discover after defeating the Death Pâtissier, enabling them to progress through the subsequent stages of Danmara.
