The Death Pâtissier (デスパティシエ Desupatishie?) was one of the three guardian deities in Danmara keeping the Fairy-Tale Card locked away. In accordance with the functionality of the dimension, his defeat led to not only the yokai's seal being broken but also players acquiring the Nom Nom Bongo (モグモグボンゴ Mogumogubongo?) card where they could utilize his skills.

In Dandadan, he serves as a minor antagonist during the Danmara Arc.

Appearance[]

The Death Pâtissier was an enormous figure, towering at least 15 meters in height, with a cartoon face; having large, round eyes with lifted up thin eyebrows, a mustache, a curled beard, and lacked a mouth. As implied by his name, he donned the attire of a pastry chef.

Personality[]

The Death Pâtissier was programmed to play a game of candy based-color tag, attacking anyone in the National Border Hill obstacle who was not in contact with the specified candy he called out.

Kintama Hunt Saga[]

Danmara Arc[]

Upon Momo and Unji's entrance in the National Border Hill obstacle course to recover the kintama that accidently fell from Unji's pants, the Death Pâtissier commences his candy-themed color tag game by calling out for chocolate. As Momo is the sole individual in contact with the specified candy, the Death Pâtissier directs his assault towards Unji and the frog shikigami. As the game progresses, Momo, Unji, and the frog shikigami are compelled to navigate the obstacle course in search of the designated candy for each round, all while attempting to recover the kintama. Just as he ends the game after four rounds, the Death Pâtissier notices Momo utilizing her psychic power to latch onto his rolling pin to reach hum and with her Moe Moe Tri-Beam, resulting in the guardian being destroyed and Momo and Unji acquiring the Nom Nom Bongo card.
