You Won't Get Away with This! (ゆるさねえぜ Yurusa nē ze?) is the fifteenth episode of the Dandadan anime series.
Synopsis[]
Jiji's body is possessed by the Evil Eye. Okarun fights Jiji, but combined with the Mongolian Death Worm's poison attacks, he needs to escape from underground as soon as possible. However, he can't leave Jiji behind, so he lets Momo escape by herself instead. Once on the surface, Momo thinks of ways to shine sunlight onto the Mongolian Death Worm.
Plot[]
After he stops the Evil Eye from launching his grudge ball towards Momo, Okarun rushes out the room with Momo to the top of the lair. After alerting her that the Tsuchinoko intends to fill the lair with venom while staying concealed underground, Okarun insists to Momo that she be the one to escape while he confronts Jiji. Momo hesitates to leave Okarun behind but is convinced to put her faith in him and vows to return for him. Using his Turbo Granny form, Okarun has Momo place on a chair and uses his leg strength to propel her towards the ceiling. Momo nearly misses her chance to reach the top but uses her powers to pull herself up. After becoming relieved to see her successfully making her escape, Okarun is confronted the Evil Eye who states his intentions to kill him. Okarun declares to him back that he will not allow him to get away with harming Momo earlier. In an attempt to have Okarun escape the lair, Momo fashions a rope from the living room curtains, only to realize in disappointed that it is too short to reach him. As she becomes distressed about the other challenges she must face, she recalls a childhood memory with Jiji and manages to devise a plan. She then executes her strategy by igniting the house, needing the firefighters to arrive at the site.
Okarun engages the Evil Eye in battle but falters against him. As the Tsuchinoko's poison gnaws at Jiji's body, the Evil Eye decides to end the fight on his own twisted terms by sealing Okarun inside his grudge Cursed House and pummeling him with sadistic glee. Mid-assault, he sneers about what he plans to do to Momo once Okarun's broken body is out of the way. In response to this, Okarun clamps the Evil Eye's face to have him stop his assault and angrily chastises him for injuring Momo and taking over his friend's body. Following this, Okarun retaliates with a barrage of squat punches that generates enough force to break through the Cursed House and leave the Evil Eye unconscious. Okarun then states the Evil Eye's third offence, which was making furious.
Okarun momentarily succumbs to fatigue but quickly regains his composure, eager to return to Momo, and takes a moment to relocate the Evil Eye. At the lair's base, Turbo Granny calls for assistance as she remains ensnared in the Tsuchinoko's mucus. She then reacts with relief upon seeing Okarun arriving to help her. However, he ends up also being trapped in the phlegm as well, prompting both Okarun and Turbo Granny to shout for Momo's aid.
Meanwhile, on the surface, Momo encounters difficulties with the authorities after igniting the Enjoji residence. As the sun begins to set, she pleads with the firefighters to use their hoses to douse the ground, but is subsequently apprehended by the police. When the ground starts to tremble, Momo and those nearby witness the Tsuchinoko rising from below, just as she had anticipated after recalling the childhood lesson she learned from Jiji about worms being unable to stay underground when flooded and will dry out when exposed to sunlight, which begins to happen to the Tsuchinoko. Witnessing the Tsuchinoko hiding behind the house to shield itself from the sun, Momo employs her abilities to demolish the house and assault the Tsuchinoko by hurling a fire truck. With the Enjoji house reduced to rubble, the Tsuchinoko dries rapidly under the punishing sunlight, shriveling until it collapses lifeless. Momo approaches cautiously to confirm its death, only to panic as the creature suddenly convulses, expelling the entire Kito Family from its stomach. Shocked to find them alive, Momo is scolded by the matriarch, furious that she killed the Tsuchinoko despite their brush with digestion. Just as Momo tells the matriarch that she will deal with her latter, as she needs to rescue Okarun and Jiji, she and the Kito Family witness the sudden eruption of the nearby volcano in the distance.
