WARNING! |
He is the father of Jiji.
Appearance[]
He has black spiry hair, wears glasses, and possesses a thick full black beard.
While in the hospital, he wore a simple gown. By the time he recovered and came to pick up Jiji from the Ayase residence, he wore a light shirt with a black tie under a coat, jeans, and dark shoes. Later, he returned to the residency wearing a multi-pocket jacket, trousers and shoes.
Personality[]
In stark contrast to his wife's exuberant personality, he remains laidback and composed, often letting her do the talking while quietly observing from the sidelines. On the rare occasion he interjects, it is usually to gently remind her to lower her voice, though his requests are met with little success.
Background[]
In pursuit of his research on volcanoes, the father moved his family to Byakuja Village, where he could study the local volcano while working at a nearby university. At one point, the parents became aware of their son Jiji's growing unease about their home, being informed that there were possible signs of paranormal activities, but were doubtful of his assertions. After the parents fell ill following Jiji's unexpected encounter with an evil spirit in their house, the family felt compelled to hire spirit mediums to cleanse the property. Unfortunately, this resulted in five out of three spirit mediums taking their own lives. Later, Jiji returned home to discover his mother and father hanging themselves from the balcony. In a panic, Jiji rushed to cut the ropes. The father and his wife were then taken to the hospital for treatment, leaving Jiji to address the situation on his own by taking one of the spirit mediums' advice to reach out to Seiko Ayase.

Kintama Hunt Saga[]
Cursed House Arc[]
Jiji visits his parents in the hospital, overcome with emotion at seeing them safe and recovering. This reunion is then met with confusion from the parents as Jiji started moving strangely, unaware that their son is wearing the body of an anatomical model who is urged by Momo to match the emotional weight of the moment.
Evil Eye Arc[]
After Okarun successfully subdued the Evil Eye, Jiji's mother and father arrive at the Ayase residence to pick him up, expressing heartfelt gratitude to Seiko for caring for their son. The Enjoji family then departed after Jiji expressed his gratitude to his friends.
Kaiju Arc[]
The following morning, the Enjoji family drive back to the Ayase residence wanting to assist with house repairs after the destruction caused by the Evil Eye. Upon arriving, the father urges his wife to lower her voice as she enthusiastically announces their presence and readiness to help with the repairs. However, the family arrive to see the house already restored. Momo then comes outside after hearing the commotion outside, calmly asking that they keep their voices down since her grandmother is sleeping.
