WARNING! |
Jiji and Evil Eye vs. Enenra was a battle between Jiji and the Evil Eye, a human and yokai with a pact relationship, against the smoke yokai, Enenra. It took place inside the castle body of Reptilian posing as a fake Matsue Castle in Shimane.
Prologue[]
Furious and impatient with his colleagues keeping him waiting in the taxi while they are busy in the castle, the Evil Eye decides to barge into the structure to find out why they haven't met back with him. Once inside, he comes across a ninja, easily defeats him, and becomes prompted to drag him with him as he tries to find either Momo, Seiko, or Bamora. His search leads him to the space where Seiko and Enenra are at, with Seiko being stood on by the smoke yokai as he attempts to have her admit defeat and relinquish her power to him.

In response to Seiko's predicament, the Evil Eye laughs at the irony of a strong individual like her being defeated. Just as Enenra announces to the Evil Eye that he intends to seize his power, the Evil Eye hurls the ninja he was holding towards Enenra, resulting in his smoke form dispersing. This moment then gives the Evil Eye the opportunity to rescue Seiko. After mocking Enenra's declaration, the Evil Eye removes his jacket and drapes it over Seiko before advancing to confront Enenra as his next opponent.
Battle[]
Enenra easily landing attacks on the Evil Eye.
As Enenra bows to the Evil Eye as his next opponent, the Evil Eye charges towards him with a punch, only for it to pass through Enenera's smoke form. After dispersing into smoke from the attack, Enenra counters with an upward kick, an elbow to the stomach, and a shoulder throw. He then proceeds with a combo of named attacks. Having easily landed all of his strikes to his fellow yokai, Enenra so far becomes unimpressed with the Evil Eye's battle performance as a warrior. The Evil Eye questions to Enenra why he his strikes seem to only target his groin and becomes prompted to give him an absurd nickname based off this observation.
The Evil Eye once again fails to land another punch to Enenra's smoke body and continues his assault regardless of Enenra telling him that his attacks are futile against smoke. The Evil Eye becomes frustrated with Enenra's ability and receives a back hand strike from his opponent that knocks him back as retaliation. Enenra expresses his dissatisfaction with the alias the Evil Eye gave to him, becoming prompted to reveal his true alias as the "Red Baron", and urges him to accept his defeat due to the difference in their strengths. After rising back on his feet, the Evil Eye enters into an inner conversation with Jiji, refusing to admit defeat and have the human take over his fight. This self-talk causes Enenra to become confused by what his opponent is doing.
Enenra hit by Jiji's Evil Gun.
After the Evil Eye yields to Jiji's request to swap places just for a few minutes, Jiji greets Enenra as his new opponent. With his opponent now being a living being, Enenra asks Jiji if he wants to die, as he determines that he won't be able to endure his blows. Jiji acknowledges that it would indeed be unfortunate for him if that were to occur, but insists that he must give it his all and, as he prepares his Evil Gun, informs Enenra that he has acquired a wealth of battle experience. As he bows to him, Enenra tells Jiji that his attacks will only prove be futile against him just like the Evil Eye's. However, Enenra becomes taken aback as Jiji's Evil Gun manages to connect and push him back.
Enenra becomes shocked by this sudden turn of events and chooses to dodge Jiji's next Evil Gun. He then moves in to deliver an uppercut. Seeing the attack coming, Jiji swaps places with the Evil Eye to have him block the punch with his elbow. The Evil Eye throws a kick at Enenra, but once again fails to harm him. After Enenra delivers a kick of his own to knock back the Evil Eye, the yokai passes control back to Jiji to have him fire his Evil Gun and push back Enenra. Having been hit again, Enenra questions to Jiji as to how he is able to accomplish inflicting damage to his smoke body. Jiji reveals to his opponent that Spiral Power, that he learned from his teacher Seiko, applied to his palm wave is the cause, as he is following the principles of molecular chirality that dictates that an ethereal entity with a left rotating energy should be vulnerable to attacks that rotate to the right.

Enenra fails to grasp the concept Jiji explained to him but still believes that he still holds the upper hand in their battle. Seeing Enenra closing in for an attack, Jiji swaps places with the Evil Eye to endure the strikes. Enenra points out to the Evil Eye that while he is able to endure his strikes with his enhanced defenses, he is unable to utilize Jiji's Evil Gun to effectively harm him. He then proceeds to relentlessly attack him, urging him to accept his defeat since without the capability to fire the Evil Gun, achieving victory is impossible, and transforming back into Jiji will only make the human vulnerable to attacks that could be fatal. Nevertheless, the Evil Eye dodges a kick directed at his head, places his hands on Enenra to apply Spiral Power ki, and manages to kick the smoke yokai away, resulting in blood spilling from his mouth. Enenra then looks to see his opponent revealing a new form, one in which the traits of the Evil Eye are halved and Jiji is in control after he tells Enenra that his classification as a genius will be what leads to his defeat by his hands.
Jiji reveals to Enenra that his form will allow him to not only utilize the Evil Eye's power but also allow him to fire his Evil Gun. Enenra states his assumption that Jiji and the Evil Eye have fused but is corrected, being told by Jiji that he and the Evil Eye, much like a flickering light bulb, are simply switching places at high speeds, a technique developed for the purpose of having him and the yokai play a video game together.
Jiji ejecting Enenra out from his body.
As Jiji prepares to fire another Evil Gun, Enenra finds that nothing has changed to secure his victory and turns himself completely into smoke to enter Jiji's body through his nose and suffocate him inside his lungs. Jiji attempts to attack Enenra with his Evil Gun by targeting the smoke surrounding him. However, the smoke yokai reveals that not all smoke is made up of his body and that he can create it to use as a weapon. He also points out that his Evil Gun has diminished in power as long as he is within this form. Not giving him the chance to swap back into his normal state to blow away the smoke in the area with his true Evil Gun, Enenra emerges from Jiji's mouth and nose, intending to rematerialize and violently rupture his body. As this happens, Jiji recalls Seiko's words to him on how he should be able to have his ki phase through obstacles, much like he during the confrontation with the Typhoon Human, and fires his Evil Gun on himself, resulting in Enenra being ejected out and Jiji being unharmed from his attack.
The Evil Eye finishing off Enenra.
As Enenra becomes shocked by Jiji's stunt, Jiji approaches him with his mouth and groin covered to prevent him from entering his body again. Enenra urges Jiji not to underestimate and proceeds to shift into smoke. However, Jiji fires his Evil Gun at close range to rematerialize him, warning that despite his technique now lacking in power he can still prevent him from dispersing. Furthermore, as he grabs Enenra, he reveals to him that he has discovered that him being hit by his Evil Gun results in an increase in time for him to turn into smoke. He then swaps control to the Evil Eye, who states his frustration to Enenra for standing over Seiko, the woman who adopted him into her family, and unleashes a flurry of punches that sends his opponent crashing out of the castle and into a nearby pond. The fight ultimately concludes with Enenra being knocked unconscious.
Aftermath[]
After swapping, Jiji becomes shocked to see the hole the Evil Eye created after he sent Enenra crashing, thinking that he may have gone overboard. He then picks up Seiko as he prepares to have them both leave the castle and states that he too wanted to complain to the yokai for disrespecting his teacher, believing that she could have won against him had she been in perfect condition.
