Like the Shining School Building, the Ninomiya Death Road Kinjiros became drawn to the presence of the Ombusuman bound to Rin and aimed to destroy the parade float it was on.
Synopsis[]
Kintama Hunt Saga[]
Onbusuman Arc[]
The Ninomiya Death Road Kinjiros chase after Momo, Okarun, Seiko, Rin, the Hayashi, and the parade float carriers transporting them on their route to the audition venue after the presence of the Ombusuman tied to Rin awakens the Shining School Building. The statues slip through the mesh of the Hayashi's barrier to attack the group and the float with their exploding firewood but are hindered by Seiko fighting them off with her bat and Momo using her psychic power to block the firewood. However, after the Hayashi's vocalist, who is responsible for keeping the barrier up, is rendered unconscious after being hit by debris, the Shining School Building is given an opportunity to grasp the float with both hands while the Ninomiya Death Road Kinjiros run down the building's arms to charge in and attack the group from opposite sides.[1][2] Seiko and Okarun fight off the Ninomiya Death Road Kinjiros until Rin steps in for the vocalist and sings to reactivate the barrier, causing the statues to be repelled and the building to sustain minor damage and lose its hold on the parade. [3] Following the Ombusuman being reverted back to Mai Kawabanga's spirit, the Ninomiya Death Road Kinjiros and the Shining School Building are ultimately destroyed by Rin and Mai, who enhance the barrier through their duet.[4]
Battles & Events[]
Urban Legend[]
The Ninomiya Kinjiro statues are placed around school grounds, and according to the legends they come to life at night, just like the anatomical model. It is common to find statues of him in or in front of Japanese schools, elementary schools in particular. These statues typically portray him as a boy reading a book, walking while carrying firewood on his back. This depicts the popular stories of him studying and reading everytime he could.
