Kamigoe City (神越市 Kamigoe-shi^?) is a region located in Japan and the main setting of Dandadan.

Overview[]

Kamigoe City has a small few within its population that are aware of the existence of ghosts and aliens that reside or visit there. Along with these supernatural forces, there is also a god that resides in the city that Seiko borrows powers from in order to cast magic barriers that ward off evil spirits.

The detailed map of Kamigoe City shown in chapter 3 is very similar to the map of Kawagoe City in Saitama Prefecture. Additionally, the two cities share a similar name.

While the city's name shares similarities with Kawagoe, the city itself may be based on Minato City due to it including the Tokyo Tower and the Tokyo Skytree.
