Kettetsu (囓鉄) was a yokai whose powers were once stolen by Count Saint-Germain and given to an agent by Enenra.
Appearance[]
Kettetsu is a 2-meter-tall bipedal bull with a muscular humanoid body composed of iron, concentric circle eyes, and briefs as its only article of clothing.

The details of Kettetsu's spiritual powers have not been elaborated on. From what has been shown by the agent's usage after receiving its power through a kozuka knife containing the yokai's essence, the spiritual power seemingly is displayed through an iron physique which only gets more durable when hit.

Urban Legend[]
Kettetsu (囓鉄) is a mythical beast that was mentioned in Shenyi Jing (神異經; "Book of Gods and Strange Things"). He is described as similar to a water buffalo but with dark fur like jet, and ate iron and drank water, where it is believed that people made sharp weapons, hard as steel, from their feces.
Trivia[]
- In line with the jiangshi being rooted to Chinese folklore, the Minotaur may be a reference to Ox-Head, one of the two wardens, alongside Horse-Face, who are positioned at the entrance to Diyu, the Chinese representation of Hell.
- Kettetsu's profile page in Volume 21 reveals that he is most likely inspired by the basketball team Chicago Bulls, as it states that his briefs were manufactured by Chicago's lingerie company Coopers. Inc, known today as Jockey International. Coincidentally, the first ever briefs were sold by this company on January 19th, 1935 in Chicago.
- In Chapter 178, the form of Kettetsu by the power user is erroneously depicted with human feet around the time he states his interest in acquiring Payase's power.[1] This was never corrected following the release of Volume 21.
