He was a subordinate of Enenra who took on the mission, along with fellow agent, Mika Adachi, to confront Seiko Ayase at Nikujiru Gyoza to steal her powers. For this purpose, he was gifted the power of the yokai Kettetsu.
In Dandadan, he serves as a minor antagonist during the Kozuka Knives Arc.
Appearance[]
He is a man with a puggy face, dark neatly combed hair, a large nose, and wears glasses. For attire, he is dressed in a typical businessman suit; a collared shirt with a tie underneath a jacket with matching pants and dark shoes.
Personality[]
Outside the personality of his Kettetsu form, the man is shown unable to handle stressful situations, as he panicked once he was defeated by Seiko, begging her not to kill him, and easily divulged information about his mission to avoid being harmed. During his younger years, he had a timid personality around girls that made it difficult for him to form relationships. By the time he became happily married, he came to cherish his wife and would do anything he could for her, having accepted his mission to confront Seiko from an unknown individual in order receive his alleged reward of a single wish, with his being to save his wife from her fate.

Kozuka Knives Arc[]
The Minotaur attacks Seiko.
Noticing the Jiangshi struggling to pin down Seiko, the Minotaur steps in to attack Seiko by cannonballing himself towards her, causing her to be knocked back into a pillar. Following this, he takes a stance and praises Seiko for her impressive movements against the jiganshi, only for Seiko to humbly tell him she is simply old, much to his amusement. The Minotaur then makes his next move with an axe kick. Seiko moves out of the way of his attack and discovers that the Minotaur has a harden body after a kick aimed at this groin and a swing with a piece of wood empowered by the Power of Words did not faze him. The Minotaur appreciates Seiko taking note of his tough hide and reveals to her that his body is made of iron and that her attacks will only make his body stronger. After striking himself around his legs, he kicks Seiko into a wall and follows up with a barrage of punches, all while telling her that it is futile fighting against him. After defeating Seiko, the Minotaur takes out a knife from his briefs and offers to spare her life in exchange for her admitting defeat. Before he is given the chance, the Minotaur is struck with a powerful double blow by Payase and Kashimoto who prepare to fight the Minotaur and the jiangshi as their next opponents.[2]
The Minotaur defeated by Seiko.
The Minotaur revels in the presence of three formidable opponents, his excitement manifesting in a series of bizarre exclamations about his groin heating up. As the jiangshi charge forward, they are effortlessly stopped by Payase and Kashimoto's combined abilities. Impressed by Payase's powers, the Minotaur expresses his desire to wield them himself, only to be denied by the man. After his iron body withstands being pierced from below by Payase's shadow, the Minotaur seizes and hurls Payase aside. Kashimoto retaliates with a flurry of spirit-enhanced punches, managing to land significant blows. However, the Minotaur counters with a devastating jab to his chest and demands to receive more punishment. Amid the chaos, the Minotaur spots Seiko chasing after her purse and viciously kicks her against a wall, suspecting trickery within the bag. Kashimoto attempts a sneak attack but is sent flying by the Minotaur’s sheer strength. After he declares to have achieved a state of Ultimate Hotness, the Minotaur punches Payase as he tries to toss Seiko her bag and grabs the woman in a bear hug. Just as he demands for her to concede the fight, Kashimoto strikes again. The Minotaur suggests for Kashimoto to cease, telling his opponent that his attacks against him will only backfire on Seiko as it will go through him and affect her, as well as make him stronger. Despite her injuries, Seiko urges Kashimoto to continue. Just as the Minotaur seems invincible, Payase unexpectedly severs his arms, freeing Seiko. Shocked, the Minotaur is left grappling with this outcome, questioning how his supposedly invulnerable body failed him. Payase explains that intense light casts deeper shadows, making him stronger as a result, while Kashimoto elaborates that his Ice Flame had cooled the Minotaur's iron body, making it brittle and vulnerable. As the Minotaur attempts to divulge critical information about their true pursuers, Seiko pulls a talisman from her purse and destroys his form, cutting short the bull's final words.
The Minotaur crumbles down to reveal a salaryman who immediately begs for mercy. Seiko asks him the motive of his attack, to which he shows a message on his phone given to him by an orchestrator describing Seiko as the target and giving away her position. She runs towards the window and spots a mysterious person which Payase believes to be the one who was controlling the Jiangshi. Kashimoto demands the man to call his friend back but he explains how he has no idea about his identity since they all get contacted by the orchestrator and sometimes multiple people appear to bring down the same target. He gets mad and shows off his Aphoom-Zhah powers, so the scared man pulls out three knives, one being white and the other two blacks. Payase shockingly looks at Seiko who recognizes them as Kozuka Knives, which accompanied the powerful sword Asura, able to use the power of yokai and curses the wielder to kill others until his life runs out. It had been sealed by an organization of magi, however someone stole it five years ago. The man explains how their job is to gather the power of yokais and the ones who get the most will have their wishes come true. Payase threatens him for this nonsensical and dirty quest, but he sadly reveals that his wife has only one year left to live. Ever since he was young he had trouble talking to girls and he thought he was destined to live alone forever, until she showed up and patiently waited for him. Because of this, if there's a chance of saving her, even the most miniscule, he's going to take it. Seiko asks him about how he got contacted to which he says he got introduced to him by a colleague which could help his wife's situation. However, it appears that this colleague never existed since no one knew about him and he did not appear in the company register, despite him remembering the two worked for a long time together.
Masamichi Vega questions the worker about the clients inside the restaurant and he points out the middle-aged salaryman, though he recalls Seiko, Payase and Kashimoto paying their bill before leaving.

In his Kettetsu form, he possesses incredible physical strength from the density of his iron body, being able to deliver powerful punches and kicks that were enough to put down a strong fighter like Seiko.

Due to his body being made out of iron, the man possesses incredible durability. During his confrontation with Seiko, he was undeterred by her kick targeting his groin and did not even incur any harm from a strike with a piece of wood augmented by the Power of Words. Taking advantage of his body's density, the man could launch himself like a cannonball as an attack and put his whole weight on his opponent once he has got them down, all while receiving no consequences.
| Strengths and Weaknesses | ||
|
In addition to being impervious to harm, the man, owing to the nature of iron, experiences an increase in strength whenever his body is hit with considerable force, leading to the heating of the impacted area and the emission of steam. As a result, he has proven to be a difficult opponent to defeat, as his body gets stronger with each strike his opponent makes or with each strike he makes to his opponent. If not this, he also uses the tactic of striking himself. |

Trivia[]
- In line with the jiangshi being rooted to Chinese folklore, the Minotaur may be a reference to Ox-Head, one of the two wardens, alongside Horse-Face, who are positioned at the entrance to Diyu, the Chinese representation of Hell.
- The Minotaur's tendency to shout "HOT, HOT!" regarding his groin is a reference to the gag used by Japanese comedian Takashi Fujii.
- In Chapter 178, the Minotaur is erroneously depicted with human feet around the time he states his interest in acquiring Payase's power.[3] This was never corrected following the release of Volume 21.
