Kinta Sakata and Bamora vs. Hastur is a battle that took place in Empty Space opened over the city of Tokyo. Hastur's exosuit was destroyed but he survived and stole Bamora's kaiju, activating its slaughter mode. Momo and Okarun's powers are depleted while Aira, Mr. Mantis Shrimp and the Evil Eye are blocked by the horde of aliens. Only Kinta who has just reached the battlefield can stand a fighting chance against the massive kaiju by wielding the Ayase Residence's nanoskin.
Prologue[]
While the Family trained for the incoming Kur Invasion, Kinta regularly kept going to school, noticing that Momo and the others were still absent, saddening him because he had put much effort in his appearance because he wanted to look cool and mysterious. After an average boring day at school, his curiosity takes over and visits the Ayase Residence's grounds, discovering that the house is surprisingly gone. He concludes that they must be fighting for the sake of the world on their own but as he leaves, he spots a note on the torii gate asking to come and help them. Although the letter was originally meant for Seiko, Kinta is excited to prove its worth and transforms the nanoskin forming the gate in a motorbike, making his way towards Tokyo.

At his arrival, Bamora is being held hostage by Hastur who is about to drop her from the mouth of the massive kaiju he stole from her. Nobody can get close enough to help and the horde of aliens in front of Aira is cleared by Kinta, driving over them on his motorbike. Kinta apologizes for being late and asks them to save their hugs for when he wins, though Momo notices that he's holding the note meant for Seiko and panics, meaning that she won't come to rescue them. Kinta ignores the negative comments towards him and questions the Ayase residence's whereabouts, shocked to see it in ruins. They are then forced to move by the Kur attacking them and in that instant, Hastur drops Bamora to her doom. Kinta shouts that it's his turn to shine and transforms its nanoskin motorbike into an airship to save her. Momo and Okarun are amazed by his mastery over the material when he's suddenly shot down by the aliens, causing him to fall down to his death. Despite this, he reaches Bamora's hand and asks her to hold tight as he summons the Great Kinta with a cube of nanoskin. The fragments of the Ayase residence on the ground synergize and are attracted to him like a magnet, enveloping the duo in a nanoskin crystal. With the additional nanoskin, Kinta shapeshifts it into the perfected version of the Great Kinta, facing the deadly kaiju piloted by Hastur.

The Family down below cheers on Kinta as he basks in the robot he belongs in, ready to take down the enemy threat. He informs the opponent that the best Great Kinta pilot is him alone, Kinta the End of Joytoy Pegasus Sakata, saying this as he extracts the Tokyo Tower from its base and uses it as a weapon to strike Hastur and flinging him into the city buildings, making him land on his back. Kinta explains that the Tokyo Tower was made from scrapped tanks and it must have hurt a lot, however Hastur is sent rolling nearby the Tokyo Skytree and follows the boy's train of thought, wielding it and pointing out that his sword is longer. Kinta is shocked but he doesn't falter and charges at the enemy, leaping in the air and shouting that the Tokyo Tower has four legs, one more than the Skytree, so his attack will deal more damage. Hastur blocks the hit by covering his head with it but he's kicked back by Kinta, adding that since the Tokyo Tower is 333 meters tall and the sum of the digits equals nine which is said to be a sacred number, the only logical conclusion is that the Tokyo Tower is a mystic sword. Because the Skytree is larger and more difficult to manuever, he struggles to keep up with Kinta who throws a second devastating swings that wrecks both weapons, sending Hastur rolling backwards once again. Kinta stands victorious and Bamora compliments his strength, making him happy that her misunderstanding has been finally resolved. Suddenly Bamora indicates Hastur, who has received minimal damage from the attacks and is dazzled by the exosuit's incredible resistance. Kinta is irritated by the enemy interfering with the romantic atmosphere between him and Bamora so he rushes forward to put an end to the battle.

The Great Kinta throws a hook at him, but the kaiju blocks the incoming fist in his own palm and he unexpectedly extends his neck forward, taking a giant bite out of the robot's left arm. Kinta is shocked at the adversary's destructive power and hopes that he can regenerate the nanoskin fast enough to keep up, as the kaiju overwhelms the duo with bites and swings, mocking their lack of horns meaning that his suit is stronger than theirs. Hastur finishes off the Great Kinta with a groundbreaking downward punch, gripping onto the core of the robot where Kinta and Bamora are contained. He strips it with force from the destroyed mech and begins squishing with his fist, aware that the humans are stuck inside and are groaning in agony. He announces that soon the main fleet will arrive and an enjoyable hunt for the planet's resourcers will begin. He admits that this invasion has been the third most difficult he ever had in his centuries of work, however he understands that it is a good thing because the planet is overflowing with powers and it's going to fall into the Kur's grasp. Kinta focuses on regenerating the surrounding nanoskin to keep themselves from being crushed, annoying Hastur who wonders why they are still fighting considering that they are inferior life-forms and their chances of winning are zero. Kinta rethinks of the monotony and depression of his daily life, screaming from his heart that he has nothing to be proud of and he resorts to put up acts to get attention or ridicule others to feel better about himself. However, he affirms that there are still things that he loves, like robots and beautiful girls, and he decided to keep fighting just for them instead or running away and risking to regret it for his entire life.

Hastur is fed up with the boy's discourse and inserts his claws into the core, completely crushing it. He reasons that there are plenty of others substitutes to feed on when Kinta unexpectedly claims he's wrong, somehow having survived and he's now attached to the kaiju's back inside a jetpack, piloting alongside Bamora. He informs Hastur that they had slipped away at the last moment and rode an aircraft scooter, travelling behind his arm to avoid being spotted. The octopus is furious at their stubbornness despite there being no shot of them defeating him and demands for them to get off. He tries in vain to slash them with his hand so Kinta informs him that no kaiju can ever reach his own back. As he says this, him and Bamora simultaneously activate the thrusters and depart skyward, reaching hundreds of meters into the air. Kinta shouts that if he can't directly damage the exosuit, all he has to do is target what it's inside like Momo had told him when they first fought the kaiju, planning to finish him off with a power bomb. Hastur panics and shrieks at the reckless boy, warning him that they too will be blown away upon impact, yet Kinta coordinates with Bamora and they point the jetpack towards the ground at full force. The duo screams together and spiral their way downwards, performing a brutal power bomb augmented by Spiral Power to completely crush the slaughter mode kaiju into the city's concrete, landing right on the monster's head. After the giant cloud of smoke clears, the kaiju shrinks down to its regular size and vomits out Hastur, who can barely move from the dizziness of the attack he had just endured. Kinta and Bamora had ejected with a parachute installed in their seat, proclaiming victory and shouting that from now on everybody will have to pay attention to his name, although Momo ignores his comment and keeps calling him Erosuke.

Now with the giant threat taken down, Mr. Mantis Shrimp can safely lead Momo and Okarun to the warp gate at the center of Tokyo. They finally find the device powered by Okarun's kintama and he reclaims it, disabling the tiny pyramid. The portal in the sky starts closing and they celebrate for their hard-fought victory. They decide to reunite with the others so they can take out the aliens who are still on Earth when astonishingly, the main fleet of the Kur bursts through the small opening in the wormhole. Immediately, it unleashes hellfire on the entire city with such an extent that Empty Space incredibly begins tearing apart. Okarun theorizes that they are trying to break out of the pocket dimension and return to reality, meaning that hundreds of thousands of people will die. Their forces are stretched incredibly thin and everything falls apart when Reiko Kashima shows up to take her revenge against Momo.
