He is an alien who attacked Momo and Okarun while they were at school after coming to Earth to collect test subjects.

In Dandadan, he serves as the main antagonist during the One-Shot Profoundly Mysterious Kick-the-Can Battle.

Appearance[]

The alien resembles a bipedal mandrill while outfitted with a long-sleeved shirt with two breast pockets and feautres a dark stripe extending from the collar to each sleeve. He also wears matching pants and boots.

Personality[]

The mandrill alien is very self-confident, assertive and narcissistic. He perceives himself as a superior being, a notion he supports with his claimed IQ of 300, which he frequently boasts about to his targets. Success in his plans also helps to inflate his massive ego. He possesses a low opinion of humans, regarding them as primitive creatures characterized by barbarism and ignorance. However, his opinion may change if he comes across one who exceeds his expectations, as he praised Momo for lasting long enough to avoid getting turned into a can by his Territory Can. Taking great pride in his intellect, he finds it intolerable for someone to label him as stupid, resulting in him exhibiting aggressive behavior towards the one who made the remark. Ironically, he also finds it offensive to be called "monkey" despite his appearance. Although he possesses a strong sense of pride, he was not so overly arrogant admitting that he couldn't comprehend how Momo avoided his first can attack directed at her, however, he did believe that the unforeseen moment must have been noteworthy if it managed to exceed someone of his intellect. He is also very persistent, as he was determined to take down Momo after she foiled his plans.

He has a unique speech pattern in which he ends almost every sentence he speaks with the word "bro" and, as his fight against Momo and Okarun drags on, he also adds "ook" to his vocabulary.

Synopsis[]

Profoundly Mysterious Kick-the-Can Battle![]

After arriving at Kami High, the Mandrill Alien activates Empty Space and setups his Territory Can to initiate his operation of turning every human into walking cans for his plan to experiment on them later. With Momo and Okarun being the only ones not turned into a can, the Mandrill Alien targets them, starting with Momo in her class. The Mandrill Alien makes an attempt to strike Momo with a can but fails after the girl lowers her head onto her desk on time, leaving him astonished and questioning how she could foresee his move. He subsequently launches a second assault, causing her to be propelled out of the classroom. Once more, the Mandrill Alien is taken aback when Momo successfully deflects his attack. In response, he hurls several cans at her, which she blocks using her psychic hands, while insisting that he cease his littering. After Momo meets up with Okarun, who flees from the transformed can students, the Mandrill Alien reveals to them the function of his Territory Can and his intent with the humans he capture. Following Momo and Okarun's arrival at the rooftop, the Mandrill Alien tries deceiving them into destroying the Territory Can by begging them not to. Okarun comes on to the alien's game and comes between Momo and the Territory Can to block Momo from kicking it, resulting in him being transformed into a walking can after he is knocked back into the Territory Can.[1]

After leaping from the roof and using her psychic power to navigate herself into a classroom, the Mandrill Alien faces Momo once again. Disappointed that Momo didn't transform into a can as he had planned, he reveals that the Territory Can is designed to turn people into cans upon contact if they try to destroy it. He then commends Momo for not being as barbaric and foolish as he initially thought humans were, which only fuels his eagerness to dissect her. After Momo retorts, declaring that he is the real monkey lacking intelligence, while also claiming that her IQ is higher than his, the Mandrill Alien furiously launches a barrage of cans towards her after becoming enraged by her insults. He warns her that the small cans he is launching can also transform her into a can, and doubts her ability to sustain her psychic shield for long. After ceasing his assault and seeing Momo bleed from deflecting the cans, he suggests she apologize, thinking she won't survive his next attack. However, as he notices the classroom collapsing, Momo reveals she had tricked him into destroying the pillar supporting the Territory Can on the roof to let it fall and collapse the moment it hits the ground. Despite his Territory Can being destroyed, the Mandrill Alien refuses to admit defeat and comes in to attack Momo with his staff. However, he is suddenly attacked and knocked out of the school by Okarun using his headbutt attack in his Turbo Granny form.[2]
