WARNING! |
Masamichi Vega vs Ultimate Yokai Vessel is a battle that took place on an embankment under an overpass in Kamigoe City. Mika Adachi was contacted by the Orchestrator to encounter their agent and deliver the power she had stolen from Takeshi Murakami. Things escalated after the mastermind fired her and the man assaulted her, forcing Masamichi Vega to come out of hiding and defend her.
Prologue[]
Mika Adachi, a power collector hired by an orchestrator and given the power of the Jiangshi, had failed her job to steal Seiko's ability at the Nikujiru Gyoza. Masamichi Vega arrived on the crime scene and began interrogating the people in the area when the attack ensued, which might be why he was able to pinpoint Adachi as one of the attackers. He supposedly followed her around and when she managed to steal Murakami's power, she contacted the orchestrator through her phone which led her to a mysterious man with white eyes, tasked to receive the kozuka knife containing the target's ability.
Adachi meeting the agent at the rendezvous point.
Just then, the mastermind called her from an anonymous number, asking her why she attacked without receiving an order. Mika Adachi, who was desperate to get money to take care of her sick mother, admits that she had sensed the spiritual power emanating from Murakami and approached him. The orchestrator informs her that the teacher was an agent just like her and for her recklessness, they decided to fire her and request her powers back. Adachi begged to have a second chance, but the voice told her that she was too kindhearted for the job, which needed them to attack the relatives and friends of a person possessing an ID Cosmos just so they could steal their ability. She again apologized and promised to do better but the man standing in front of her assaulted her with his briefcase, pummeling her face with it while asking her to yield. Vega was watching from nearby and he was forced to intervene.
Battle[]
The agent forcing Adachi to assault Vega with the Fairy-Tale Card.
Vega runs forward and delivers a powerful kick to the agent's face, sending him rolling away from Adachi. He slowly approaches the man and he contacts the station, asking for assistance as he extracts the keibo from his pocket, which is a baton the japanese police uses. The agent stands up and immediately summons the Fairy-Tale Card from his back, connected to him through a wire. The card with the spirit's face is brought forward to hypnotize Vega, however the cop recognizes it from the Renjaku Apartments Incident, showing no sign of his will being subjected to his. The agent is flabbergasted, shouting that he couldn't have found a worst adversary because of his resistance to his power. He then redirects the card towards Adachi, who actually falls under the man's spell and forces her to attack Vega, jumping on him from behind. Being an experienced cop, Vega easily grabs her hand wrapped around his chest and moves the woman's legs with his own to the side, causing her to fall to the ground next to him. He locks her right arm in place and holds her head down, however, when he hears her groaning in pain, he remembers how the Fairy-Tale Card's power actually works. He looks forward, stunned, noticing that the agent has already escaped without leaving a trace.
Aftermath[]
Vega is still perplexed about what just happened and reaches over to his radio to inform the police station, although he's unsure about what to say. It's still unknown whether he brought Adachi to the police central for questioning or not.
