He is a priest affiliated with an unidentified religious group who was cognizant of Momo Ayase being under a curse and aided in her liberation from it using the Uchide-no-Kozuchi.
Appearance[]
The masked priest's full appearance.
His face has not been shown yet. He hides behind an intricate mask with two pairs of holes on the forehead and under the nostrils, prominent cheeks and carved lines that span from the eyes down to the jaw and also two horizontal lines on the forehead reaching down to the nose bridge. The mask is outlined by a sort of light-colored mane that covers his neck and the back of his head. He wears a traditional layered tunic that reaches his knees, and walks on dark flat geta sandals. On his head is a kanmuri and he wears a dark undershirt with protective gear on his forearm.

Shortly after Momo's curse had caused her to vanish completely out of sight, the priest and his fellow members tracked her down to her current position. Upon finding her, he offers his assistance, asking that she climb into his pouch so that he can have her accompany him elsewhere and gives her reassurance that matters have already been settled for her two friends. At their shrine, the priest places Momo in a pool and uses the Uchide-no-Kozuchi to gently tap the water, resulting in Momo returning to her normal size.[1]
