After Momo expresses her intention to Miko and Kei to seek employment in order to gather funds for house repairs, her friends suggested that she apply for a position at Ririna's workplace and agreed to speak favorably on her behalf. Momo managed to secure a position at Moe Moe Kikoho as a maid, however, during one of her shifts, her mischievous friends brought Okarun along and spent the evening playfully teasing her as she worked, much to Momo's growing irritation and fiery protests.
Space Globalists Arc[]
As she prepared to head home after her shift ended, Momo found herself ambushed in an Empty Space Moe Moe Kikoho by sabotaged Serpo clones posing as maid café staff and customers. After a surviving Serpo arrived to reclaim the data the Kur stole from his people, Momo entered into an alliance with him to fight off the clones and defeat a Kur manipulating the Serpo from another dimension. The battle ended with Momo defeating the Kur and the Serpo clones being teleported elsewhere by the Serpo allied with Momo. Following the deactivation of Empty Space, the two relocated to the Kappatsu Club to avoid an encounter with Reiko Kashima.

- Although it has not been officially confirmed in the manga, the anime establishes that the series takes place in 2024. This was evident in Momo, Okarun, Miko, and Kei's group photo at Moe Moe Kikoho in episode 19 that displayed the date October 14, 2024.
