Momo Ayase, Okarun and Kinta Sakata vs. Bamora (Exosuit) is a battle that took place in Empty Space opened inside Kamigoe City. Following the defeat of Bamora by the hands of Momo, Okarun and Kinta, the Kaiju activates its emergency defense system, growing up significantly and targeting the trio. In their escape, they'll meet up with Aira and Jiji and they'll develop a plan to take down the Kaiju.
Prologue[]
The exosuit without its camouflage.
When Bamora is launched out of the apartment due to Okarun going all-out, the heavy blow activates her exosuit's emergency defense system, overriding her controls. The kaiju enlargens, growing bigger even than the apartment complex itself. As it grows, it notices Momo, Okarun and Kinta inside the balcony and it smashes its head into the building to crush them. The trio is able to get out of the way and they head towards the exit in fear, finally realizing that they are trapped inside empty space and that they must be fighting a space kaiju. The monster keeps wrecking buildings in order to find them, but neither Momo nor Okarun know if it has a weak spot and they decide to flee outside. The kaiju spots them and crashes its way through the city to catch the trio.

Meanwhile, Aira and Jiji are both captured in the city-wide empty space. Jiji reaches for her in fear that he has done something, but Aira reassures him that it's an alien's fault and opts to search for Momo. Out of nowhere, the trio arrives while being chased by the kaiju, with Momo prompting Aira and Jiji to run for their lives too. Suddenly Kinta stumbles over and he's almost stepped on by the monster, but thankfully Momo and Aira use their powers to launch cars into its foot, slowing its decent for the time necessary for Okarun to rush in and rescue him. Because Kinta has no powers, Momo instructs Jiji to carry Kinta somewhere safe, although Aira demands to be respected as the leader and repeats the same order. As Momo shouts to reunite at her house later, she along with Okarun and Aira, take on the space kaiju.
Battle[]
Aira launching a car into the monster's head.
With Acrobatic Silky's powers, Aira rises up to the monster's face and pummels it by slinging a car into it with her hair, stunning it. Momo compliments Aira while she rides on Okarun's back, but the leader insists to be called as such and demands her to aim for its legs so they can push it down. Momo refuses to call her like that but she still does as she's told, throwing another car with her psychokinesis. The kaiju is unphased and it thrusts its leg forward, which Okarun manages to evade. Momo keeps screaming, frightened by the monster, prompting Aira to make fun of her for not calling her leader. This small distraction turns to be almost fatal when the kaiju smashes its arms into the building she's flying on top of, launching Aira into the storm of debris.
Okarun narrowly rescuing Aira by going all-out.
With Aira now incapacitated and spitting out blood, the exosuit prepares the finishing move by charging its fist and sending it crashing down into the edifice. Okarun realizes what it's doing before it happens and drops Momo off, running towards Aira. Just as the punch is going to connect, Okarun decides to go all-out, a risky move that pays off since he rescues Aira out of harm's way, but he's now unable to transform due to having already overexerted himself once. In the meantime Momo has climbed on top of a nearby building and so Okarun shouts to her about his condition, resulting in her catching the two with her psychokinesis as she questions his inconsiderate tactic. The kaiju returns and tries to clap the duo with its hands, forcing Momo to pull them away and resort to escape to bring Aira to safety. As the monster flattens the city to catch up to them, Momo descends by slinging around the buildings' walls with her powers, narrowly dodging the multiple power lines in their way. Okarun warns her about the danger, though this just irritates her and she sarcastically suggests to wake up the leader Aira so she can make a path instead. The trio leaves the city and reaches the Ayase residence, yet the kaiju hasn't stopped its assault and it menacingly steps towards them, slowly reaching their location.
Aftermath[]
Because Momo was the one who ran all the way from the city to her house, she collapses upon entering the house's grounds. Momo believes they are safe when Okarun notices that Aira won't detach herself from him, discovering that she had been faking her unconscious condition just so she could be between his arms. Momo ragingly pushes her to the ground and the two bicker, with the former demanding her steps back while Aira insists that it was because of the girl's poor performance that she ended up getting hit. Just then, the Evil Eye greets them, who has taken over Jiji after the boy came in contact with Kinta's sweat. Believing that he has been summoned to fight Okarun, he's eager to begin but they all inform him that it's not tuesday and he'll have to wait. Momo whispers to Okarun, asking if they should allow the yokai to fight alongside them against such a strong enemy, however Okarun insists that he might misinterpret the promise he had made to him and the Evil Eye could resume killing humans again.
The nanoskin used to rebuild the house.
Seiko is nowhere to be found and Momo struggles to devise a plan to take down the kaiju despite the available fighters including only her and Aira. She touches the house's wall which starts glowing, intruiging Okarun. However, the alien monster has finally entered the surrounding fields and is about to reach them, so the two girls get ready to face the threat. Unexpectedly, Okarun suggests to use Ludris' nanoskin, which they had deployed to rebuild the house, to take down the kaiju.
Anime and Manga Differences[]
Momo throwing a car at the kaiju's foot.
The battle is drastically different and expanded than the manga, with the main difference being that the giant kaiju's horns can now generate a devastating electrical beam. Aira initially spins her hair and whips it towards the monster but she remains in awe at the incredible toughness of its skin. Momo meanwhile explains that in its small form, it was an invisible and fast opponent, but once giant, it switches to a powerhouse. Aira picks up her train of thought and reasons that its way of fighting consists of melee attacks as she leaps over the kaiju's spinning punch and runs up its arm, reaching its head. Up there, she deploys her hair to blind the enemy with her hair, stating that the bigger it is, the harder it will fall while she tries to pull him downwards. The monster's leg lifts up but it keeps its balance, rotating its horns to meet up with the one on its nose to generate a strong electric current, melting the hair in its face. Noticing this, Aira quickly gets away before she's caught into the range of the electric sparks, which soon focus into a powerful beam that travels towards Momo and Okarun. Despite the laser being above them, electric arcs are transmitted from the beam towards the ground, still proving lethal enough for Okarun to dodge them. They all take cover and wait for it to diminish, shocked by the creature's destructive power. The kaiju then unleashes a loud roar that shakes the entirety of Kamigoe City, prompting Aira to attack him and following the start of the battle according to the manga.

Still, when Momo launches a car at the kaiju's foot, instead of the monster throwing its leg towards them, it decides to sit down and whip its tail in their direction, barely missing them. And rather than Aira getting hit while she is distracted, she uses her hair as tendrils to hold herself in the air and catapult a crane at the target, striking it as she boasts to Momo on her amazing moves worth of a leader. Just then, the kaiju throws the crane back at her and she protects herself with her hair, although the creature doesn't stop there and catches her in its left hand, breaking her face mask by squeezing her tight. The kaiju opens its mouth to devour her but he's hit in the face by a billboard thrown by Momo. She keeps bombarding the monster with them and gives Aira the opportunity to escape, bursting her hair through its palm and dodging its hands which intended to catch her as she fell down. The leader points out that the billboards are barely doing any damage so the two girls bicker for a bit before Aira decides to jump down and lure the kaiju before slipping away. The monster tries to look for her in the nearby buildings with no avail, forcing it to wreck the entirety of its surroundings and causing massive damage. Inside the huge cloud of dust, the monster unexpectedly charges an electrical beam in Momo and Okarun's direction, generating a series of electrical arcs transmitting through the ground that catch the duo by surprise, flinging them backwards and bringing the boy out of his yokai form.

Before another lightning can rain down onto them, Momo deploys a psychokinetic shield and holds it in place while Okarun theorizes that the kaiju has descended from dinosaurs and has evolved to survive in outer space. He continues by stating that the kaiju might be powered by some unknown cosmic energy which it transforms into electricity through its horns and allows it to deploy optical camouflage. Okarun concludes by focusing on finding this unknown energy source and destroying it to take away its powers, though in the meantime, Aira opts to rescue them by diverting the monster's attention, prompting it to oscillate the energy beam. Aira skillfully dodges the electricity thanks to her acrobatics and at the same time, Momo redirects her psychokinetic shield towards the ray and grabs it, hurling it towards the side. The generated whip reaches the kaiju, causing it to fall to the side and undo the electric beam. As it lays still, Aira rushes over to finish it off when it unexpectedly disappears, leading Aira to think it was terrified of her and had escaped. Momo screams that it's still there and she soon notices the steps of the kaiju in invisible form, smashing its fist towards the ground. Before it can land, Okarun closes the distance and shouts to jump, who reactivates her powers and barely evades the danger zone, although the shockwave sends her flying into a block of concrete. After discovering that it can camouflage, Aira slings upwards and prepares to face the monster, which is hiding in a massive smoke of cloud. Again, the kaiju unleashes an electrical beam that takes Aira by surprise, destroying the roof she's standing on. And to follow up, it flattens the edifice with its head, causing her to turn unconscious.
The sequence then follows the manga again, although instead of avoiding the clap attack of the kaiju entirely, Momo slides them outside of his fists once they are caught. And it immediately after, the exosuit is hit by the flying backpack previously thrown by the Evil Eye from the other side of the city, causing the creature to plummet to the ground.
