WARNING! |
Momo Ayase, Okarun and Aira Shiratori vs. Koki Yukishiro and Pygmies is a battle that took place in Empty Space generated at Kami High. After chasing Koki Yukishiro who had attacked Momo, the latter along with Okarun and Aira are trapped in Empty Space in the Home Economics classroom. In here they are continously bombarded by the contraptions developed by the invisible tiny Pygmies, defending the hidden Koki from the trio. Since only Momo can perceive them, it becomes a race against time for her to find the pygmy princess before they are overwhelmed.
Prologue[]
Koki and the swarm of pygmies.
Koki was ordered by her blackmailer to attack Momo, who was currently very tiny due to the curse of the Danmara. To aid her in her task he gave her a power through a kozuka knife, which gave her spiritual awareness. Incredibly, Koki is one of the few humans with the special gift to perceive the Pygmies, who upon discovering this they began to follow her and protect her out of their own accord. The tiny invisible creatures then wandered through the school and eventually found Momo in the library. After her friends went off to their own classes, Momo stayed there and Koki proceeded with her attack. She failed miserably due to her inexperience and had to return to class when the bell rang. When Momo's friends came back she informed them and together they looked through the various classes.
In the meantime, the orchestrator talks to Koki while hiding in a locker, telling her that she has to make the person yield before stealing their powers and she can become the person she truly wants to be. He then presumably tells her to run to the Home Economics classroom in case she's approached by Momo's friends, where a device that generates Empty Space has already been deployed for her arrival. This is exactly what happens after the group found her in class 2-E and a chase began. Koki ran inside the room and she hid behind a curtain that camouflages with the environment as she was followed by Okarun, Aira and Momo. Just then, the door mysteriously closes shut and once Kinta forces it open, he discovers that there are only students taking their lesson there. While he, Jiji and Bamora wait outside, the trio is transported in Empty Space.
Battle[]
The Pygmies' stitching mastery.
Aira tries to open the door but soon gives up as she realizes that it must be an alien's doing due to the empty space they are trapped in. Okarun is confused to why he could still enter it since he doesn't have Turbo Granny's powers anymore, when his shirt is suddenly merged to the cooking counter next to him. Aira manifests her Acrobatic Silky form and tells the boy to stand behind her, but Okarun's jeans suddenly attach to Aira's skirt. They try to disjoint their clothing but Momo shouts to keep their guard up, which is proven as a wise choice when from the other side of the room a storm of knives is flung their way. Momo warns the duo and she uses her psychokinesis to block most while Aira kicks away the remaining cutlery with her acrobatic speed. Aira positions herself over Okarun to protect him and she thanks Momo for her help, who's currently residing in her shirt pocket. Once again however, Aira and Okarun's clothes are merged in an unfortunate position, making Aira blush and conclude that they must be engaged. The small Momo pummels the girl with tiny punches to have her stop and she notices that in the point where they are connected, there's a group of Pygmies who are stitching their uniforms together at an incredible speed. She lunges down on them and sends the creatures flying before she deploys her psychokinesis to grab a pair of knives to lacerate their shirts' tissue, freeing them. Momo then warns Aira that the tiny enemies have clung onto her shoulder, but despite her brushing it down, she doesn't see them nor feel them.
The trio getting bombarded by the pygmies' weaponry.
Okarun asks Momo what's troubling her, making her panic as the entire classroom is filled to the brim with pygmies, who are preparing to attack them with catapults, ropes, bows and arrows. They bombard the humans with moree knives, forcing Aira to use her hair as a shield while Momo envelops Okarun with her powers to defend him. More pygmies climb onto the boy and Momo tries to warn him as she punches the ones around her, although he also cannot perceive them. The girl understands that only she can see them and by affirming that they are everywhere, Aira decides to pick up two cooking counters wrapped around with her hair, planning to destroy the room and kill them with collateral damage. Upon trying to launch them, she shockingly realizes that she cannot move them as her curls have been tied to the walls and ceiling by the pygmies. Some creatures hop onto the cookers and turn them on, heating the hair up and sending it on fire. The blazing cloud races back to Aira's head and she tries to unravel the strands in vain. Thankfully, Okarun quickly grabs a knife and chops her hair, preventing the fire from spreading further. He apologizes but Aira reassures him that he saved her and Momo hands her another knife so she can cut all the strands that are leaving her immobilized. She also warns them that there's gas buildup in the room and if they are not careful it could explode so she opts to dissipate all the flames in the room. Just then another set of knives is hurled their way and they are all forced on the defensive once again, acknowledging how dangerous the battle has become. Okarun demands to know how many enemies are there and Momo shouts that there's atleast a million of them, and defeating them all is impossible.
Okarun's newfound phsyical prowess.
The beings grip onto Okarun's leg so he resorts to remove his shirt and swat it around to take them out, inspiring Aira who deploys the same technique. This turns out to be a bad move since the creatures knit the clothes into the ground upon landing and surround the duo with their sheer numbers. With Aira's arms also being tied to her uniform, the pygmies launch a volley of knives to stab her but she smartly forms a spiraling shield in front of her while Momo keeps protecting Okarun with her abilities. The creatures from the ceiling target the duo with arrows shot by their makeshift bows en masse, stinging them repeatedly. Aira orders Momo to cover their back but she's too busy taking on the endless troops on the floor. Momo theorizes that Koki must be the one controlling them and because she's hiding she must be the weak point, however the sheer number of pygmies make it hard to localize her aura. In the meantime the two humans are immobilized by the enemies' stitching, compelling them to get rid of their clothes to break free. The tiny girl hops on Okarun's head and instructs the two to keep moving around and lure the pygmies to attack them, hoping for the enemies to hint Koki's position. The two are shocked by her suicidal request added to the fact that they cannot see them, but they aren't given time to think through the storm of flying knives and arrows across the room. Aira easily dodges the weapons thanks to her acrobatics, but Okarun too, whose body has become toned and athletic over his multiple battles aided by Turbo Granny's power. The girls are left in awe at his performance and compliment him yet Okarun remains humble and informs them that he cannot keep up forever and sooner or later he will get slashed. When the boy puts his hand on the floor to pick himself up, the pygmies switfly knit it to the ground.
Momo knocking Koki out by crushing her with a cooking counter.
Aira too alerts that she has been stitched to the pavement as the pygmy army slowly advances with their war machines, preparing to send volleys of knives, arrows and burn them alive with the cookers. Despite being trapped into a corner, the creatures mysteriously do not attack. Momo realizes that Koki is hiding right behind them and confirms it by finally finding her aura. She taunts the pygmies for not being able to start the assault without hurting their master as she uses her psychokinesis to hurl an entire cooking counter at Koki, catapulting away the enemies and crushing the girl against the wall. She points out to her friends that she had been cowardly hiding behind a curtain knitted by the pygmies despite being the one who started the conflict, although Okarun is more distraught about the fire from the cooker setting the curtain ablaze. Momo grabs a nearby fire extinguisher and engulfs the area with foam before charging at the tiny adversaries and kicking them away as they retreat, declaring her victory. Surprisingly, the pygmies undo the stitches from Okarun and Aira, waving the white flag. In the meantime Aira touches Okarun's naked back, flustering him and enraging Momo. This small distraction allows the creatures to sneak back and carry Koki away, so upon noticing they start chasing after them and Aira deploys her hair to immobilize her. She thinks it's going to be easy since she can see her, but the creatures move erratically as a single form, dashing around the room and preventing Aira from wrapping her hair around Koki. Momo is perplexed since Koki is knocked out and they are still moving on their own, theorizing that they are willingly helping her out. The creatures hop onto Okarun and Aira to repeatedly tickle them and prevent them from getting up. Momo uses her power to slap the pygmies away and she lastly blocks the classroom's door to prevent Koki from escaping, although they smartly utilize the windows above to pass through, fleeing from the battlefield.
Aftermath[]
Queen slapping Koki because she had lied to her.
Jiji, Kinta and Bamora are still patiently waiting outside but they understand that they need to something since break time is about to end. Jiji remembers Bamora activating Empty Space when they first fought and requests her to do it once again. The girl agrees and turns on the setting Heart-Pounding hidden mode, transporting them in the pocket dimension just as Koki is dragged away by the pygmies on the ceiling, confusing the trio. Momo, Aira and Okarun then breach the door and bash into Jiji and Kinta, leaving them stunned. Okarun and Aira are still being tickled by the creatures however Momo redirects the boys' attention to Koki and a second chase begins while the former two remain behind. Because of the pygmies' speed they slowly gain more distance, so Kinta masterfully deploys his nanoskin hoverboard, gliding through the hallway and keeping up with their pace. Before he can catch her, he's struck in the face by the nurse Queen's baton, launching him off the vehicle and leaving him unconscious. The others soon arrive but Koki begins to lie, stating to Queen that they were the ones who attacked her first. Jiji and Bamora try to convince the nurse but she doesn't tolerate bullying and so the tension keeps rising up. Queen then talks to Koki, revealing that she had bigger numbers on her side thanks to the pygmies who she can surprisingly perceive unlike everybody else. Koki spills the truth and after the nurse slaps her, they recover inside the infirmary where the girl tells them about her condition, ultimately joining their group to identify her blackmailer.
