Momo Ayase, Okarun, and Turbo Granny vs. Acrobatic Silky is a battle that took place in an abandoned warehouse. Aira Shiratori, a student from Kami High, picked up Okarun's missing kintama and allowed her to become spirit sensitive. This in return caused yokais to see her aswell, most prominently one named Acrobatic Silky. Aira had lured Momo behind school to exorcise her, believing that her psychokinesis were actually her devil wings, but in that moment, the yokai jumped in.
Prologue[]
Before becoming a yokai, Acrobatic Silky was a human and she had a daughter, but due to economic struggles and having to depend on loan sharks, her daughter was kidnapped and she decided to end her life. Now that she was a spirit, a young Aira Shiratori unexpectedly managed to see her in the streets before her father carried her away. This led her to confuse her true daughter with Aira and she started following her to protect her.

Just as Okarun and Momo take down Turbo Granny fused with the Earthbound Spirit Crab at the end of their game of tag, the boy's balls she was holding on are launched off the train tracks, with one of them hitting Aira Shiratori in the head. When she picks it up, she's shocked to see the spiritual energy leaving off the defeated spirits. Because she always believed herself to be beautiful, she assumes that the heavens have given her this ball as a sign that she's the protector of Earth.
The following day at school, Aira teases boys as usual, but when she does so with Okarun, Momo gets mad and throws a washbin at her. Unbeknownst to her, Aira spotted her powers that make her think of Momo as a devil. With this information, she asks her friends Anzu and Tsubame to obtain an exorcism book and a cross, with the latter secretly being a lighter. The next day as Aira retrieves them, she spots Acrobatic Silky in the court field and hides from her, thinking that she's Momo's familiar. Turbo Granny, now trapped in a maneki-neko doll while her powers remained inside Okarun, also saw the yokai and informed him. Momo was later brought to an abandoned warehouse behind school and attacked by the girls to exorcise her, knocking out Anzu and Tsubame. Just as Okarun and Turbo Granny arrive to warn them about the yokai, Acrobatic Silky rushes in and grabs Aira.
Battle[]
Aira in Acrobatic Silky's grasp.
While Acrobatic Silky rambles about being Aira's mother, Okarun doesn't waste time and transforms with Turbo Granny's powers to attack her. The yokai notices him and elegantly evades him, asking him if he perhaps as a crush on Aira who meanwhile is surprised to see Okarun as a demon too. Okarun attempts again to punch her, but she dodges him and unexpectedly tries to eat him. Momo uses her psychokinesis to try and pull him out, but since her hands are still tied behind her back she struggles to do so. Acrobatic Silky jumps and swings her leg at her, leaving Momo no choice but to block the kick with her powers and getting launched into the containers inside the warehouse. The yokai then swallows Okarun and informs Aira that she has waited ten years for her to be able to perceive her, wanting Aira to call her mother again. Momo recovers and Turbo Granny reads on Kei's phone what type of yokai they are facing, remarking that she's not very dangerous. Aira then shouts that because she's beautiful, she has to crush monsters like the spirit holding her to keep the world's peace, though Acrobatic Silky proceeds to eat her too, blaming Momo for making her a rebellious and mean girl.
Acrobatic Silky throwing Momo into the walls with her hair.
Momo begs Turbo Granny to untie her but the cat grins, refusing to help since they were the ones who stole her power. Acrobatic Silky manipulates her hair to hold Momo's throat and asks her to apologise, though when she insults her instead, the yokai goes berserk and sends her flying into the building's walls. Momo is then forced to call her mommy yet she mocks her again, causing her to get swallowed whole. Turbo Granny approaches the crying yokai, demanding her to spit the kids out as she's still in time to be forgiven. Acrobatic Silky doesn't understand until the cat points out that maneki-neko have the ability to invite good luck and that the yokai has swallowed some of her hair. Suddenly, the spirit explodes into flames and she's informed by Turbo Granny that the cross Aira held was actually a lighter, which Momo used to ignite her hair, a scenario that was forced to occur thanks to her luck-inducing presence. In excruciating pain, she vomits out Momo and Okarun, having succesfully rescued Aira. Acrobatic Silky is furious and screams to give her back as she destroys the environment with her hair, forcing them to flee.

Momo informs Okarun that she has an idea, but the boy can't move well while carrying the unconscious Aira in such tight passages. Acrobatic Silky flings from above and stomps Momo into the pavement, though Okarun can't afford to stop and keeps running with the yokai right behind them. He manages to escape her grasp for a few moments as she slings around the warehouse, but he ultimately gets hurled away, leaving the vulnerable Aira on the floor. Acrobatic Silky reassures her that it's okay if she doesn't want to call her mother as long as they are together, which she's going to achieve by devouring her and making her part of her flesh. Surprisingly, she can't move another inch and Momo points out that her burnt hair has been entangled throughout the building, essentially trapping her in place. As she starts breaking free, Momo holds her legs still with her psychokinesis and instructs Okarun to finish her off by going all-out and punching her. However, Okarun admits that he actually doesn't know how to beat up someone, though when the yokai manages to remove her restraints, the boy simply transforms and headbutts her at full speed, launching her outside the building and crushes her against a wall, ending the fight.
Aftermath[]
Momo using her powers to link the two auras.
The duo wonders if they should have Seiko exorcise her, but Turbo Granny claims that she won't be able to use her spiritual power for a while and instead focuses on Okarun's kintama found in Aira's pocket. They celebrate together, but Turbo Granny suddenly reveals that Aira has died. She informs them that death is bound to happen when a regular person is swallowed by a yokai, but since Okarun and Momo have paranormal abilities they were able to resist. They try to reanimate her in vain until Acrobatic Silky stumbles back to them, stating that the only way to resuscitate Aira is by repleneshing her depleted aura, which she offers to replace with hers. Momo thinks she's playing a trick on them, but when the spirit breaks her jaw as insurance and Turbo Granny confirms her words, she agrees to help while Okarun stands by, ready to attack if the yokai tries to take advantage. Acrobatic Silky instructs her to link the two auras with her ability, leading her and Aira to tap into her memories.
Acrobatic Silky departing to Nirvana.
Aira returns to life while Acrobatic Silky's body begins to crumble, apologizing to the girl for hurting her instead of protecting her. Momo is confused so Turbo Granny reveals that without an aura it's impossible to survive and due to her lingering regrets, she won't reach Nirvana and she will end up erased into nothingness. Momo and Aira wonder if there's any way to stop that, but Turbo Granny is sure that she can only change from the depths of her own heart. As the dying Acrobatic Silky cries about the suffering she brought upon her daughter, begging forgiveness, Aira runs forward and hugs her. After declaring her love to her and promising not to forget her, Acrobatic Silky's regrets disappear and she departs along with her daughter to a kinder world.
Anime and Manga Differences[]
Instead of being stomped into the ground by Acrobatic Silky, Momo is kicked and launched into a wall. Later, while Momo and Okarun bicker to finish her off, she throws a steel beam in their direction which they barely avoid.
