Momo Ayase and Bamora vs. Reiko Kashima is a battle that took place in an abandoned zone of Kamigoe City. Reiko Kashima, a powerful yokai that no one has ever defeated, has made these ruins her home. When Momo and the alien girl who piloted the kaiju, Bamora, pass through the area as a shortcut to not arrive late to school, Reiko Kashima will not hold back.
Prologue[]

Seiko doesn't see Bamora as an alien, believing that she's just a lost transfer student who from now on will go to study at Kami High along with Momo, although the girl doesn't want to because she fears that Bamora is still an enemy. Her gut feeling almost comes true when Bamora activates her kaiju and scans Momo, which she did to clone her clothing. As they are walking to school, Momo asks if the kaiju's head cannot transform like the rest of the suit but the conversation is hard to uphold since the alien doesn't speak her language. Momo tries teaching her and even hugs her when she understands some of her words, although she immediately retreats, thinking that she might be tricking her. She also inquires the golden kintama they are looking for and Bamora extracts the marble in her suit, revealing it to be just a simple power source that glows when active. Momo wonders how she obtained it but she suddenly notices that they have spent too much time talking and now they are late to school.
Momo brings her to a shortcut and orders her to repeat her moves, consisting of one bow, two claps and a prayer. As they walk in Momo instructs Bamora to walk on the edges, explaining that her grandma warned her of the danger lurking in the area, although the alien doesn't really understand what she's saying. While venturing through the collapsed buildings, glass suddenly falls in front of them and Bamora shouts at Momo to look forward. Reiko Kashima, who's busy applying her lipstick by watching herself in the mirror, senses their presence and asks them if she's beautiful.

Momo doesn't waste time and starts repeating the chant "Pomade" taught to her by Seiko, but Reiko Kashima knows about its effect and zooms in at a jawbreaking speed, catapulting the girl into the ruins on the side with a single punch. She warns her not to yell that word at her anymore because it's annoying when she suddenly hears a loud noise, turning around and observing Bamora charging at her inside her giant kaiju suit. The alien lands a strong punch right into her nose but Reiko is seemingly unphased, even admitting that she likes her because her face is ugly. She reasons that being surrounded by horrible looking people like the kaiju is bound to make her look prettier, saying this all the while Bamora pummels her with punches, dealing no damage and not putting in enough force to even push her back. The yokai decides to put a stop to her assault and performs a devastating german suplex. crushing the girl backwards by using her own body as leverage. She then flings her away, taking her out momentarily, as she fixes her dress after she revealed her underwear by mistake. She then states to Bamora that she didn't hit her that hard and she even exaggerated the fall, although the kaiju is laying defeated on the ground, still as a rock. Momo returns, telling the yokai that because she's a slit-mouthed woman, all it takes to defeat her is to chant the word "Pomade" ten times in a row. She begins shouting the word but she's stopped by the yokai, who punches her by inserting her hand through her mirror, manifesting it back into the real world through a glass shard under Momo. The girl protects herself with her psychokinesis yet the attack is strong enough to send her rolling backwards, all the while Reiko gets more furious by the minute and reasons that she should eliminate her first.

Out of nowhere, a second arm appears on a shard behind Momo and she narrowly dodges it as it tries to slam her into the floor. Momo tries to escape but she's chased by the several arms of Reiko who sprout out and attack her. She's ultimately caught and Reiko explains that there's no point in running because the entirety of the ruins is covered in glass shards, each one revealing her ominous face. Momo grabs a brick and tries to force the hand holding her foot open as the yokai orders her to come to her, dragging her on the floor. Out of nowhere, Bamora returns and once again attempts to move Reiko out of the way, failing. Momo shouts at her to repeat the chant ten times which she could do from the safety of her suit, although the language barrier gets in her way. Reiko calmly releases Momo's foot and she pulls out her hand out of the mirror, using it to wrap around the kaiju's neck and squeeze it tight, forcing it to smile so the two can take a sort of selfie. Without warning, Bamora disappears into nothingness, shocking Momo. Reiko then looks at her mirror with Bamora now trapped inside, telling the alien that she can stay there forever so she will always look good compared to her ugly kaiju face, saying this while she derisively tries to look a cute by doing a hand sign. Reiko brings her focus back to the human, warning her that if she completes her spell to exile her from the dimension, Bamora will vanish too. Momo admits that she never really trusted her in the first place, but at the same time she cannot stand the thought of losing to her. She wields her psychokinetic arms to grab the surrounding debris and hurls it at the yokai, claiming that she will beat her to a pulp and make her even uglier than she already is. Hearing this insult directed at her beauty, Reiko goes ballistic and easily decimates the material thrown at her, repeatedly shouting that she's not ugly. Momo retreats and prompts her to stay mad, explaining that when more blood rushes to the head it becomes harder to see what's around her, a phenomenon she has used to secretly steal her mirror with her psychokinesis, making fun of her while she escapes.

Reiko Kashima becomes even more furious, launching herself to the floor in a fit and destroying everything around her, demanding it back or she won't be able to look at her sweet face anymore. Meanwhile Momo tries to force her powers through the mirror but fails, deciding that it's best for Seiko to check it out instead. Reiko finally appears behind the girl in such a way that the two of them are present in the mirror, allowing Reiko to activate her powers and grant Momo's wish of entering the item. Momo is transported in and the mirror falls to the ground, which is picked up by the yokai who explains how her ability works and looks at the ugly duo inside. She begins playing with them, using her lipstick on Momo's face and making her uglier, although she somehow now looks prettier in her eyes. Still, she reasons that she's nowhere as beautiful as her and she moves the mirror around to look at herself, quickly discovering that she can't anymore because the girls are in the way. Hearing this, Momo prompts Bamora to remove her mask and act cute together in front of Reiko, enraging her to the point that she forcefully removes the duo by swinging the item around, not wanting her sacred mirror to be defiled by their uglyness. The two are tossed to the ground and Reiko finally basks at her own beauty in the mirror, stating that they really had the nerve and courage to mess with her object. However she notices that they are no longer there and wonders where they have gone when she suddenly hears the word "Pomade" being chanted. Reiko checks around in confusion but as they continue the spell she orders them to come out in the open, frenetically wrecking the environment while searching for them. Pomade is ultimately repeated ten times, causing Reiko to be expelled from their dimension. Bamora deactivates the suit's invisibility in which Momo was also hiding, and upon seeing the ruins clear, the two hurry to exit it and arrive at school.
Aftermath[]
Once arrived on a clear road, Momo and Bamora catch their breath, with the former admitting her mistake and promising to never cut through that area again. Momo also thanks the alien for her huge help, but Bamora starts shaking in fear at the danger they just faced and hugs Momo, repeating Momo's words. The girl is taken aback by her behavior and decides to trust her from now, treating her as a friend.

They arrive to school just in time where Okarun and Aira are waiting for them. Momo wants to explain what has just happened but the two can't help but notice the makeup on her face placed by Reiko Kashima, making Aira laugh and wonder if she has lost a bet. Momo then tells Okarun that Seiko ordered her to bring Bamora with her, though the two girls remain stunned when Bamora greets Okarun up close, prompting the two to pull her away from him and avoid her trying to kiss him again. They are then approached by a staff member who has received the news about the transfer student, informing them that Bamora will be placed in Okarun's class because there's a teacher who speaks fluent english and Momo's class is now full due to Jiji's arrival. The duo wants to keep Bamora away from Okarun but there's nothing they can do and the man rushes them to their classes. However, when they later try to enter class 2-C, their path is blocked by the Class Rep Rin Sawaki, who had already warned them that they always disturb the students inside and threatens to call the teacher if they insist further, frustrating them.
