Momo Ayase and Bamora vs. Reptilian (Round 2) was the second battle between Family members Momo Ayase and Bamora against the Space Ninja, Reptilian. It took place in an Empty Space Shimane.
Prologue
After defeating Reptilian, Momo and Bamora make a quick escape from the castle, rushing to reach the shrine in time to lift Momo's curse. At the taxi, they find Jiji holding an unconscious and badly injured Seiko, causing Momo to panic at the sight of her grandmother in such a state. Jiji explains that Seiko's ribs have taken the worst damage and he is using his ki to ease her pain, though he admits uncertainty about her internal injuries. Hearing Momo's worried voice, Seiko gathers enough strength to urge everyone to hurry to the shrine before time runs out.
Momo and Bamora staying behind to face Reptilian while having Jiji leave with Seiko to the hospital.
Before being given the chance to leave the area, they feel the tremor of an earthquake and hear the voice of Reptilian coming from the castle. The Space Ninja, frustrated by previously being outclassed as a ninja by Momo and Bamora, reveals his true form, exposing himself as the Matsue Castle all along. Determined to regain his pride, he prepares to confront his enemies once more. Believing Seiko's treatment to be more important than curing her, Momo asks Jiji to take Seiko to the hospital while she and Bamora stay behind to fight the alien once again. Before parting ways, Momo apologizes to Seiko for everything that has happened and expresses hope that they can talk again if Seiko still remembers her.
Battle

Momo enters Bamora's kaiju suit to have Bamora maintain her perception of her and instructs her to activate Empty Space as she prepares to fight Reptilian in her kaiju suit's giant form, much to Reptilian's surprise to witness this function on display. Following Momo's next command to use the kaiju suit's invisibility, Bamora charges at Reptilian with a Blast Wind Thrust Attack. Reptilian dodges the attack, revealing that he has already figured out how her invisibility works, and has his kite ninja circle around her to verify her form. He then has his ninja use Ninja Art: Chaotic Sakura to bombard Bamora with multiple explosives. This becomes a problem as Bamora notices that her suit's endurance gauge is gradually dropping, which she warns Momo that her suit will lose power once the gauge reaches zero. Momo advises Bamora to close the gap between herself and Reptilian, forcing him to harm himself with his own attacks, and to leverage the power of her kaiju suit against him. However, Reptilian sneers at her efforts, evades her strikes with ease, and continues to mock her as his explosive attacks hit their mark while she struggles to gain any ground.
With the endurance gauge reaching zero from taking too much damage from the explosives, Bamora's kaiju suit shrinks down to its normal size, just as she feared. Reptilian revels in his victory and begins stomping on the kaiju suit. However, he halts his assault upon realizing he might accidentally kill Bamora before he can steal her powers, though believes that handing her corpse over to the Serpo for dissection will be sufficient.
Momo defeats Reptilian.
To his surprise, Reptilian hears Momo's voice seemingly coming from nowhere, questioning what he was attacking, and demands for her to reveal herself. Momo then asks him if he heard about the tale of Issun-boshi, as she plans to reenact the story to defeat him. She reveals that she and Bamora are inside him with the ninja explosives, having discreetly ejected from the kaiju suit during the bombardment, and are planning to detonate them around an unknown organ. Reptilian panics upon this reveal and attempts to shake them out of him. While using her power to hold onto Bamora as they move around, Momo assures him that he will fail, mentioning having overcome a similar situation with a typhoon before, and declares her intent to avenge her grandmother. She then activates her Moe Moe Tri-Beam to detonate the explosives, bringing an end to Reptilian as his castle body collapses in destruction.
Aftermath
Momo further shrunken by her curse.
Momo shields herself and Bamora with her psychic barrier as the explosion sends them flying, but they end up getting separated. She soon realizes that the surrounding area and nearby town are vanishing, revealing they were also part of Reptilian's ability. Worried about being apart from Bamora, Momo fears she might leave without her now that her kaiju suit is no longer functional to help locate her. Standing in the middle of the road, Momo wonders if Seiko made it to the hospital and what time it is. Realizing her time has run out to lift the curse, she breaks down in tears, feeling utterly alone, and wishes to return home with her friends in mind. Her curse then progresses further, causing her to completely vanish.
Momo returned to normal size.
Momentarily, a religious group walks down the road and stops at the spot where Momo disappeared. Sensing her presence, a masked priest asks her to confirm her location and requests that she climb into a pouch. After explaining that her two friends' issues have already been resolved, the masked priest takes Momo to an underground shrine. There, he places the pouch on an interior pool and gently taps the water with the Uchide-no-Kozuchi, resulting in Momo returning to her normal size.
