In Dandadan, he serves as a supporting antagonist during the Current Arc.
Appearance[]
Mr. Dris' human vessel.
Mr. Dris appears as an enormous blue whale. The only defining aspect is a dark line traveling on top of his mouth which connects to both eyes and shortly splits off after crossing them.
His human vessel looks like a stereotypical mummy, being a bandaged humanoid with the head of an Egyptian pharaoh. Most notably, he rides a bicycle while holding a katana in his right hand.

Current Saga[]
Current Arc[]
Mr. Dris attacks Momo and Okarun.
As Momo and Okarun walk together after their visit at the Tokyo National Museum, Mr. Dris heads their way with the Serpo after activating Empty Space.[1] Following a Serpo's orders to prevent Momo and Okarun's escape, Mr. Dris uses his power inside the human vessel to erase the road and make Momo and Okarun fall into an abyss. However, Okarun lands on an un-erased white STOP road marking and pulls Momo to safety, resulting in only the Serpo falling instead. After being reprimanded by a Serpo for involving his clones in the technique, Mr. Dris charges at Momo and Okarun with a swift sword attack. This attack only manages to leave a small cut to Okarun's left arm after Okarun blocks the strike with the Oni Club.[2]
Mr. Dris manipulates the bandages to stab Okarun.
Mr. Dris cycles back around and takes advantage of the opening given to him by the Serpo to try and slash them again, although Okarun parries once again. Mr. Dris struggles to slow himself down and the rebound causes his sword to slice a clone's head in half while the others duck down for cover. Following the arrival of Count Saint-Germain's henchman who takes on the Serpo, Mr. Dris speeds back up and does a overhead slice which Okarun redirects with the Oni Club while Momo jumps away on the sidewalk. The boy screams at Momo to find Jiji while the mummy keeps up the assault, throwing multiple stabs that overwhelm Okarun and leave minor cuts around his body. Upon throwing a slash to the boy's hip, Okarun ducks down and jumps with the Oni Club, hitting the katana and compelling Mr. Dris to leave his left hand from the handle. Then his arm and the chin of his death mask are sliced apart by Okarun. Unexpectedly, Mr. Dris manipulates the bandages over the vessel to move his severed arm towards the human, stabbing him in the shoulder with the katana.
Mr. Dris' human vessel decomposes.
Okarun falls down and Mr. Dris charges the katana at his neck when out of nowhere a traffic cone crashes into him, thrown by Momo. He cycles away and gains enough distance to accelerate, returning only to throw a couple of swings which Okarun deviates. He again distances himself from the duo before charging at them, though this time, the Oni Club amped by Momo's ki increases drastically in size and Okarun swings it at the alien, severing his vessel in half. The upper half is sent flying but Mr. Dris manages to reattach himself with the bandages and changes his strategy, deciding to not just erase the street they are standing on, but the entire neighborhood. Momo and Okarun are left stranded in the middle of darkness while Mr. Dris rides his bicycle at an astounding speed around them, hiding his position. All of a sudden everything turns quiet and the noise of the bike's pedals are heard behind the duo, compelling Okarun to turn around and parry the attack with his giant Oni Club. As Mr. Dris cycles back into the dark Okarun swings the talisman wildly in fear, prompting Momo to ask him to shut the Oni Club off since the light is giving away their position. Mr. Dris returns nonetheless and swings his katana at them, though Okarun is still able to block him and forces him to retreat again. The duo determines that he's using echolocation to perceive them, corresponding to the "Ton Kara Ton" noise he constantly emits. With this information, Momo has the genius idea to form a fake body with their backpack and clothes as they hide beneath the road mark, holding on to their life. Mr. Dris falls to this trap and slices the decoy, allowing Momo to take a hold of the bandage under the bicycle. Okarun climbs back up to hold her and together they start unraveling the bandages of the mummy, whose body decomposes and falls apart upon exposure to the air.
Mr. Dris' whale body blows up.
With his vessel broken, Mr. Dris opts to break out of the death mask and slithers out, revealing his true form as a massive blue space whale, floating over the city. Because he's no longer utilizing the mummy, his abilities deactivate so the road and the neighborhood reappear. Momo and Okarun panic as they notice that the gigantic alien is plummeting towards them and the bandages wrapped around them prevents them from moving. As a last ditch effort, Okarun collaborates with Momo to unleash a last, massive upwards slash to create a hole in the whale, who seems unaffected and razes the city ground, destroying the area. Two Serpo notice his action and mock his foolishness since they had told him that if he left the human vessel, he would get crushed by Earth's gravity. As they escape, their comment reveals to be true and Mr. Dris inflates with gases before blowing apart, sending chunks of meat flying into the surrounding buildings in a disgusting finale, leading to the closure of Empty Space.

Trivia[]
- Mr. Dris' human vessel likely gives reference to the urban legend of Tonkaraton, a cursed bicycle thought to be possessed by the spirit of a mummy. The term "Tonkaraton" is derived from the noise the bike produces while in motion.
- His true form is a homage to the space whale trope appearing in movies with a genre revolving around science fiction and space exploration. For example, Star Wars includes multiple of these animals in their movies.
