Nanoskin (ナノスキン Nanosukin?) is a shape-memory alloy found in outer space and used by aliens.
Ludris is a possessor of nanoskin and complied to lend it to the Ayases to repair their house that was destroyed by the Evil Eye. Following this, Kinta Sakata utilized the nanoskin of the Ayase house to combat against Bamora's kaiju suit and has since utilized it as his primary weapon in battle. Rokuro Serpo also came to acquire the same pieces of nanoskin from Mr. Mantis Shrimp around the conclusion of the Kur Invasion in order for his life to be spared.

Evil Eye Arc[]
Following a request from Mr. Mantis Shrimp regarding his assistance in fixing the Ayase house, which was damaged by the Evil Eye during his visit, Ludris consented to help by supplying his nanoskin, enabling the owners and their acquaintances to quickly restore the house.
Kaiju Arc[]
At the Ayase residence, Okarun noticed a section of the nanoskin wall glowing in response to Momo leaning against it, her mind conflicted as she searched for a way to fight the approaching kaiju. This sparked an idea in that they could utilize the nanoskin composing the house by reshaping into something large enough to counter the threat. Okarun attempted to execute the strategy but failed to manifest a viable form due to his poor visualization. In response, Kinta Sakata stepped in, applying his sci-fi expertise to help visualize a massive construct. However, his efforts were disrupted by Momo's subconscious influence, which caused the house to take on the form of a towering Buddha statue. With none of its pilots figuring out how to control it effectively, the statue endured repeated blows from the kaiju. Eventually, Kinta realized that visualized movement was the key and restructured the statue into a mecha modeled and launched a counterattack. After he, Momo, and Aira successfully defeated the kaiju, Momo swiftly reverted the mecha back into her house and relocated it out of Kamigoe City following the cancellation of Empty Space.
Space Globalists Arc[]
With Rokuro's suggestion to relocate in order to avoid further attacks from the Kur, Jiji wanted to turn the house into a robot again with the nanoskin so he could see it in action. The girls refused and Mr. Mantis Shrimp instead proposed to make a car. Because nobody had a license, Momo settled on a bike, although it was way too large and the incapacitated Okarun was hanging on its basket. Momo tried to fix it but the bike's parts moved around, the risk of Okarun falling now even higher. Eventually, she molded the nanoskin into a cat but Okarun was suffocating in its mouth so Aira took over. At first she had a car in mind but her imagination sided to a date with Okarun, forming an amalgamation between a car, a cake and giant lips which swallowed Okarun. In the end, Mr. Mantis Shrimp put the house on a set of giant wheels and drove through the city, reaching the base of Nagi Hospital. Over the course of those five days, the alien drove the car back home to check on Chiquitita.
While passing in front of the Ayase residence, Kinta was shocked to see the absence of the house, thus his Great Kinta. He theorized that they had been absent from school to save the world, but as he left, he noticed a note on the torii gate with a request for help. Kinta quickly looked around until he realized that the gate itself was made of nanoskin, which he turned into a futuristic motorbike. The joyous Kinta told his friends to hang on as he drove towards the Tokyo Tower to save them.
Kinta smashed his way through the aliens on his motorbike just as Hastur threw Bamora off the kaiju and took it for his own. The others were not happy to see him since the note was meant for Seiko, however he did not care and set off to the skies by transforming his bike into a plane to save Bamora. A couple of aliens shot the nanoskin, destroying it. Kinta reached for Bamora's hand and called out the Great Kinta, pulling towards him the pieces of the destroyed Ayase Residence like a magnet. The nanoskin formed the Great Kinta which he piloted to spar against the kaiju in its slaughter mode. The two giants fenced off with the Tokyo Tower and the Sky Tree, but eventually the Hastur overpowered them because of the nanoskin's fragile nature. Hastur tore the Great Kinta to pieces and extracted the core where Bamora and Kinta were in, but unbeknownst to him, they used the core as a diversive to reach the kaiju's back and lift it into the air with a jetpack before finishing it off with a power bomb.
After the invasion, Mr. Mantis Shrimp attached some nanoskin to Rokuro's corpse before returning home on the Ayase mobile. Rokuro visited their home, mesmerized by Ludris' technology which he turned into a gun, to thank Momo for her help. She asked him not to attack them anymore, but he left without responding.
Danmara Arc[]
Okarun and Momo met Rokuro working at a convenience store and requested his aid to enter the Kamigoe Police Box's database. Once there, he used the nanoskin to form a police officer's outfit, though he did not have enough to change his face. Inside, he molded an USB and inserted in the pc, decrypting the data and gaining access. As he left, he bumped into Masamichi Vega and suddenly struck him in the face. Because of the database, he had information about who he was and made up a lie that he came from another police box. Vega pulled out his phone to confirm this, but Rokuro secretly formed a nanoskin wire and connected it to the cellular, faking a conversation and tricking the man.
As the Fairy-Tale Card controlled Unji's Umbrella Boy powers to shoot at the powerless Okarun and unconscious Momo, Rokuro molded the skin into a store counter to shield them from the blast and later used its scanner to fire high-output particle beams. Turbo Granny instructed Okarun to take back the Kintama in order to use his powers, so he asked Rokuro if he could form a rocket and chase Umbrella Boy. The alien informed him that he did not have enough nanoskin and instead tried with a jetpack, but he was effortlessly launched away by the umbrella's air blasts. Hearing Vega mention a typhoon, Okarun requested him to turn into a giant heater to fill up the area with hot air, though he had to connect with the two humans with wires to generate such energy. This formed a tornado, causing Unji's umbrella to fly away and the trio attacked him on the ground, allowing Okarun to steal the Kintama and use his powers to finish him off.
Because Rin stopped singing before Rokuro, Okarun and Vega could leave Danmara, instead of levitating they began falling. Rokuro turned his arms into two rockets with the nanoskin and the two held onto him, slowly rising until they escaped the pocket dimension. To finish off the Fairy-Tale Card with the others, Rokuro turned the store counter into a giant scanner controlled through the cash register, destroying one of the cards and neutralizing the yokai.
Current Saga[]
Kozuka Knives Arc[]
While the weakened Koki is getting carried away by the Pygmies in Empty Space, Kinta forms a fast flying hoverboard with the material to catch up. As he orders the girls to confess their love for him, he gets smacked by Queen's bat, falling from the vehicle and collapsing.
Now with the History and Culture Research Club aware that Koki Yukishiro had been forced to attack Momo by an unknown teacher, Kinta molds and places a hair pin on the girl's hair, secretly a surveillance camera to spot her blackmailer which is connected to Kinta's glasses. Thanks to this, he spots Queen, Adachi and Sanjome talking to the girl, although they don't have enough info to firmly accuse any of them. Aira wants to see the footage for her own and grabs Kinta's glasses which morph into Okarun's. This embarasses Aira as it made it look like Okarun is always on her mind. Later, Kinta flies on his hoverboard to the Ayase residence. After crashing, he announches that Koki has been approached by her blackmailer and Rin is keeping a close eye on them. Hearing this, Aira and Okarun decide to assist him and return to Kami High.
Before entering the gym. Kinta turned his hoverboard into a jetpack. The two boys were launched away by Hase and the Jet Booster Exosuit Kur, but they were saved by the airbags inside the jetpack. As they run away, Kinta fabricated two devices and gave them to Okarun, which ended up saving him after the airbags inside were opened before Hase sent him crashing into a building. As their two enemies were conversing, Kinta took advantage of this and made a rudimentary armor for Okarun, including verniers on the back and pile bunkers. He then used most of the nanoskin to form a miniature Great Kinta for his own. When Okarun was hit and realized it did not hurt, Kinta revealed that he had been training his imagination by constantly touching paperweight to get familiarity with steel and apply it to the material, though this made it very hard to move. While Hase played around with Kinta, Okarun fought the alien until a kick of hers made him touch the gear, removing its strong density. This allowed her to release a powerful light shot, completely demolishing his armor.
While Hase pummeled the alien with hits, Kinta decided to merge with Okarun, fusing the two nanoskin suits into one to face off against Hase. The merging however made them slower, heavier and take more hits, resulting in Hase completely obliterating the fused suit through his powerful jumps. Okarun put his arms around Hase, locking him in place while Kinta morphed his nanoskin around him, impeding him from jumping. They rose to the skies with powered wings before diving down, crushing Hase and returning him to his human form, winning the battle.
