Okarun vs. Hastur, Jet Booster Exosuit Kur, Mantis Exosuit Kur, Ta Koshin Jo, Ta Kowasa and Head Exosuit Kur is a battle that took place in Empty Space near the Kamigoe Dairy Farm. The Kur suddenly ambushed Okarun and his friends, hoping to use their bodies as batteries to accelerate the warp of their main fleet. Deemed the most dangerous of them all, Okarun is targeted by six aliens of the Kur Advance Unit, including the leader Hastur.
Prologue[]
At the end of school, Okarun accompanies Bamora to the Ayase residence while Momo goes to her part-time job at Moe Moe Kikoho. Once arrived, the boy tries five times to leave, but the alien keeps holding him still, talking to him in her language which he cannot understand. Believing that she's referring to the marriage topic they had discovered thanks to Mr. Mantis Shrimp's translator, Okarun apologizes and tells her that he can't marry her because she's in love with Momo. Despite the girl not understanding what he has just said, Okarun runs away in embarassment, realizing that he has just screamed out loud the feelings in his heart.

Just then, the Kur Advance Unit coordinates their attacks and they teleport to the locations of the Family, specifically Momo, Okarun, Aira and Jiji, whose powers they had discovered following their raid at the Serpo' base and their position accidentally broadcasted by Jiji using Bamora's suit. Okarun slows down his pace when he notices that he's now surrounded by darkness, and as he turns around, he sees Hastur and his allies ready to execute him. Okarun barely has time to remove his shoes and transform before the Kur unleashes fire.
Battle[]

A barrage of missiles is unleashed by Ta Koshin Jo as Okarun is approached with deadly intents by the aliens, forcing the boy to leap in the air and avoid the rockets along with Ta Kowasa's mechanical arms. In the air, Okarun is able to throw a powerful kick that instantly sends the Head Exosuit Kur ablaze, essentially ending his life. After landing onto the Mantis Exosuit Kur and sending him rolling down into the fields, he evades more rockets and mechanical arms, deciding to take on Ta Koshin Jo. He avoids another barrage of guided missiles and he jumps on the alien's bulky robot legs, using them as footage to jump and uppercut the rocket launchers above, rendering them unusable. Ta Kowasa tries to catch him by deploying all of his arms but he doesn't expect Okarun suddenly changing his trajectory and going straight towards him instead of avoiding him. Now exposed, the human dropkicks Ta Kowasa and takes him out temporarily. Okarun has no time to think when the Jet Booster Exosuit Kur tries to strike him from behind with a rising kick utilizing the suit's boosters and wings to close the distance.

The two skillfully parry and counter each other's attacks at an incredible pace, with Okarun evading the alien's punch followed by a kick so he can swoop in with a double punch which she blocks. Now vulnerable, she performs a spinning kick which he dodges so she retaliates by jumping and turning her body so she can land onto him. His speed allows him to quickly jump on top of her, but thanks to her boosters, she evades with a backflip before he slams onto the ground. Upon landing she then counters with a rising kick which he has to jump to avoid, leaving him exposed. She holds her fist forward before she turns on her jets and flies in his direction, but when Okarun dashes back, he's mysteriously pushed forward by an unknown force, allowing her to rotate mid-air and slam him in the ground with her foot. Before she can finish him off with a jet-powered dive punch, the boy flips out of the way and gains distance. Noticing that her arm is stuck in the crater, he decides that she's too powerful of a threat and goes all-out to eliminate her.

Unexpectedly, the same unknown force from earlier stops his path just before he can uppercut her, leaving him stranded. The Jet Booster Exosuit Kur doesn't waste her chance and throws a left hook augmented with her jets, launching Okarun away once again. The human finally realizes that the unknown gravity is being produced by an enemy and he finally notices Hastur behind the alien, who opens his arms wide to generate the carved space. The boy feels an incredible amount of pressure and when Hastur swings his arms upwards, he's essentially transported forward, making Okarun lose his balance and allows the Jet Booster Exosuit Kur to zoom in and pummel him repeatedly with punches and kicks. Suddenly she retreats, but the bleeding Okarun has no time to recover before Hastur clenches his palms together, squeezing Okarun with his carved space and crushing him. The boy loses consciousness and collapses, undoing his transformation and ending the fight.
Aftermath[]

Hastur points out that the Serpo's data they stole was correct as Okarun showcased an incredible amount of strength. The Jet Booster Exosuit Kur also compliments the human's speed without wearing an exosuit on Earth, a planet with a considerable high gravity. Hastur rushes his allies to steal the boy's jewel before they run out of time and so Ta Kowasa holds Okarun's limp body still while the Jet Booster Exosuit Kur pulls out a serpoian apparatus, removing the safety and shooting a plunger at the boy's groin. Out of the chamber she extracts the glowing golden ball and Ta Kowasa wonders what to do with the rest of the body. The leader decides to retrieve it so they can study its anatomy and they then open the triangular teleportation gate. As they walk towards it, Ta Kowasa is suddenly struck with incredible force, breaking one of his mechanical arms. The Kur turn around in confusion and through the cloud of dust, Mr. Mantis Shrimp emerges in his Dover Demon Strong Style Twenty-Four form, asking if they can fight for over 24 hours.
The Jet Booster Exosuit Kur takes a step forward but Hastur orders her to stop, indicating that the enemy is not a human and they must not waste any more time. With everybody now inside the teleportation gate, Hastur warns Mr. Mantis Shrimp that he'll have to wait so they can properly hunt him down when they are ready. They disappear and Empty Space ends, so the dover demon returns normal and rushes to check Okarun, who's unresponsive. He later brings him to the Ayase residence and installs a medical device to keep blood and phlegm out of his lungs in order for him not to suffocate.
