WARNING! |
Oni Club (鬼の金棒 Oni no kanabō?) is a weapon belonging to Okarun that he received from Seiko Ayase.
Appearance[]
The Oni Club's unsealed state.
In its sealed state, the Oni Club has the simple appearance of a twig made out of charcoal. In its unsealed state when wielded in battle, it takes on the shape of a kanabo club with a pommel ring made out of light.
Capabilities[]
Though its full capabilities are unknown, Seiko claims to Manjiro that the Oni Club is a reliable weapon that would help Okarun defend himself after losing Turbo Granny's powers. During his third encounter with the Serpo, Okarun revealed that, despite its small and seemingly fragile size, the Oni Club is quite durable enough to withstand a swift sword slash and is capable of channeling ki to change into a batting shape weapon.
History[]
Current Saga[]
Typhoon Human Arc[]
After the attack on Seiko, Momo, Jiji, Bamora, Unji, Raiya and Daiki on their way to Shimane, Seiko contacted Manjiro to have him provide Okarun with the Oni Club, in fear that his group could be targeted as well.
Shimane Arc[]
Following Murakami's arrest at Kami High, Okarun received the Oni Club from Manjiro but became unimpressed by the small object, thinking that Seiko was mocking him. Though he did not know how to wield it himself, Manjiro attested to the Oni Club being a proper weapon and suggested that he keep it on him and treat it as if it was a talisman.
Current Arc[]
Following the Serpo and Mr. Dris ambushing him and Momo, Okarun wielded the Oni Club to slightly block Mr. Dris' fast sword slash and have it change shape by applying his ki training he received from Manjiro.
