A cursed painting (呪いの絵画 Noroi no kaiga?) bought by Payase, as part of his profession as a cursed object collector, that possesses the misfortune of causing spontaneous fires on a daily basis.

Appearance[]

In the foreground of the painting, an eyeless head from the nose up sits on a hill decorated by tiny white creatures, while in the background several humanoid silhouettes stare at the viewer, with an eerie cloudy night sky with a full moon shining through. The painting is encased in a wooden frame with laurel ornaments in every corner.

History[]

The painting came into possession of Payase to add to his collection. This resulted in his house being caught on fire on several occasions, a consequence the cursed collector did not mind the slightest.[1]

Trivia[]

  • The object could be a reference to a painting present in Minecraft, as the skull sitting on a hill at night matches with the one owned by Payase. Furthermore, the skull in the Minecraft painting has many tiny flames lit on top of it, which corresponds to the many little flames popping up randomly around it due to its curse.
  • The painting could also be a mixture of two works, The Visions of Tondal by Hieronymus Bosch, because of the a large head with the same shape as the eyes and nose, and Les visions du chevalier Tondal, for containing several people inside a hot sea with their upper parts exposed outside of it.
