WARNING! |
Ranzan Ookuma (
Appearance[]
Ranzan has a completely shaved head and eyebrows, giving his face an usually blank expression. He wears a long sleeved shirt on which a teddy bear called Kuma appears, similar to his surname, on top of his school uniform. He always appears slouched over.
Personality[]
Since he never speaks, always has a blank expression when not fighting and he wears a shirt with an image of a childish teddy bear, it seems like Ranzan is very mentally underdeveloped compared to his age. This is also confirmed by him being one of the few who don't bother staring at the gorgeous Seiko while she offers them to eat at the Goro Stamina Booster, due to kids usually not being interested in the other gender romantically at an early age. This condition of his may be a consequence of an unknown childhood traumatic event since he's seen reflecting deeply at the words of Fairy-Tale Card about the unfairness of society.
Synopsis[]
Kintama Hunt Saga[]
Danmara Arc[]
Ranzan and other students of class A get confronted by Toramaru Sodenashi, leader of class C, asking them to submit. This obviously makes a turf war break out and Ranzan covers his classmates by using a pallet as a shield.
The delinquents put their differences aside and get transported inside Danmara with the mission of saving Unji along with Zuma's gang members. Despite Momo's words about correct pairings against the respective enemy classes, Ranzan rushes in with everyone else and smashes an enemy warrior down with his signature move.
With the final seal broken and the Fairy-Tale Card yokai now free who immediately tries to convince them to stay, he looks down, defeated, pondering about the way he's living and reflects if he should stay inside Danmara due to him being treated like garbage in the real world.
A few days after the incident, he's invited to the Goro Stamina Booster by Seiko and he devours his plate while others are too busy staring at Seiko's beauty.
