WARNING! |
Reiko Kashima vs. Kur is a battle that took place in Empty Space opened over the city of Tokyo. Despite the Family's efforts, they can't close the warp gate in time and the main fleet of the Kur bursts through, unleashing hell on Earth. Because Empty Space started tearing apart from the damage, Reiko Kashima managed to enter, prepared to take her revenge on Momo. Upon noticing the bombs dropping on her head, memories from her human life flicker through her mind and she retaliates against the aliens.
Prologue[]
The main fleet breaches the gate.
Thanks to Kinta taking down Hastur who was wielding Bamora's kaiju, Momo, Okarun and Mr. Mantis Shrimp can safely proceed on ground and reach the warp gate. Upon removing the kintama from the device, the portal starts closing so the trio decides to reunite with their friends and eliminate the aliens who already got through. Just as the gate is about to close, the colossal main spaceship bursts through, opening the portal for the entire main fleet to enter. The ship starts razing the city with massive laser beams and the other ships drop their troopers and open their cannons, destroying Tokyo. The sheer amount of destruction starts tearing empty space, leading Okarun to believe that they are planning to enter actual space and begin the full-scale invasion of Earth.
Reiko Kashima stops Momo and Okarun.
Mr. Mantis Shrimp leaves to join Aira but Momo and Okarun are stopped in their tracks by Reiko Kashima, who excitingly tells her that she's going to be trapped in her mirror for the rest of her life, where she'll disfigure her and toy with her. Neither Momo nor Okarun have their powers active and her arrival just makes Momo give up and fall to the ground, wishing to see her grandmother. Her words strike Reiko, as the scene of her death under the bombings of Tokyo flashes through her eyes. She looks upwards to see it being repeated by the Kur, and upon remembering her desperate call to her mother, she decides to take action.
Battle[]
Reiko punches the main battleship.
Reiko materializes her mirror and points it at the main spaceship of the Kur, as every single glass shard throughout the city assumes her face. She demands to know who would in their right mind drop bombs on people's head and promises to kill every last scumbag, charging up her fist. Reiko throws a hook right through the mirror's glass, causing all the shards in the vicinity to do the same and merge into a giant punch which pierces through and wrecks the massive spaceship in half. Now with the biggest ship taken out, Reiko watches herself in the mirror along with all the other small ships and aliens on the ground to send them in her pocket dimension.
Reiko kills the Kur trapped in her mirror.
With every single Kur now trapped inside, Reiko doesn't hold back and unleashes a barrage of punches through her mirror, which appear as gigantic fists inside and she starts annihilating the Kur army, unable to do anything to stop her. She keeps shouting at them to die like they deserve while Okarun and Momo realize that she has singlehandedly stopped the invasion. Okarun asks Momo who she is, and as Reiko looks over, she admits that she's the strongest yokai there is and not even Seiko can defeat her. Hearing this, Okarun jumps in front of Momo to defend her, asking her to take him instead. As the two lovingly try to save one another, Reiko is reminded of her human life and her boyfriend, understanding that she's lacking in love all along. Reiko drops her grudge on Momo and decides to leave, ending the invasion.
Aftermath[]
With no more aliens around, empty space vanishes, transporting Momo and Okarun back to Tokyo as if nothing ever happened. They reunite with the others and drive together back home, where they dine in celebration.
Reiko without her makeup.
As the kids leave to go grocery shopping, they meet Reiko standing in the middle of the road, looking extremely gorgeous. Reiko excuses herself for not having makeup on, believing herself to be ugly, and answers to Momo that she will never attain nirvana because the hatred she feels will never die. She's also irritated by Momo's existence and wants to beat her to death because she's isnt direct about her love to Okarun, since she has always spied on her through her mirror. However, this struggle inspires Reiko to search for the love of her life too but she warns Momo that she'll take Okarun from her if she continues to dither. With this said, she speeds off through Kamigoe City, screaming for her man.
