The Renjaku Apartments are a rundown residential complex located near Renjaku High School where kids meet and pass their time to escape from their difficult daily lives. Prostitution and drug dealing occurs, but Unji Zuma uses his powers to protect his friends from shady people. The cursed trunk gets brought here and they are tricked into freeing the yokai trapped inside, causing the Renjaku Apartments Incident.

History[]

Zuma was given the kintama by a mysterious person to destroy the world inside the cursed trunk. He brought the diorama to their base and a girl offered to jump in first, who ended up finding Daiki Hakono. Zuma then swapped places with her and fought in Danmara for a week before the kids lost track of his figurine. Because of this, they decide to throw the old man back inside and bring back their friend. Momo and Okarun, who were looking for his nut, hear that Unji had it and they were brought to the Renjaku Apartments. After a heated debate, Momo is accidentally pushed into the cursed diorama and entered it.

Chaos immediately settles in, the kids are all ready to risk their life to save their friend but Okarun opts to call out for Seiko's help. He is accompanied by Turbo Granny, Rin and Mai to the hangout, with the last two remaining outside to extract the players from the cursed trunk. A big group forms near the diorama and they receive instructions from Turbo Granny through a Serpo's communication device. Mai forces herself onto Rin, giving her a idol costume and a microphone to sing. They begin playing music and the Onbusuman's gravitational powers lift the trapped people into the sky, finally escaping the Danmara. Fairy-Tale Card however used Zuma's Brella Boy powers to force himself out and tries to mind-control the Class Rep, though she is protected by her yokai friend.

Fairy Tale Card makes her mouth vanish and uses his abilities on the huge crowd to attack her. Count Saint-Germain defends her and fights the enemy head on, discovering that two cards must be destroyed at the same time to avoid their regeneration. The yokai is sure to win since the Count is all alone, but suddenly Rokuro, Okarun and Policeman Vega leave the Danmara, lending their help. With a simultaneous attack, the group defeats the yokai and Turbo Granny and Momo are kicked out of the cursed trunk, but unexpectedly, Ayase's has shrunk down to the size of a palm. The weakened Fairy Tale Card attempts to escape but he's stopped by the Count who steals his powers after asking him to admit defeat. He reveals how he's a collector of the paranormal and is searching for the Dandadan, asking the yokai if he knows about its nature.

On the news, the paranormal incident is justified by a massive brawl between the hoodlums using the apartments as a hangout and the students of Renjaku High School, with over 100 people ending up injured.
