Seiko Ayase vs. Hokkaido Yokai is a battle that took place in Hokkaido. Seiko Ayase was hired to perform an exorcism due to an evil spirit and she borrowed the powers from the god of the land to aid her.
Prologue[]
An old woman from Hokkaido had her estabilishment haunted by a strange, mechanical yokai. She contacts Seiko for the job, who also brings Turbo Granny on her trip, taking three days to visit the shrines to to obtain the power of the god of the region. In her absence however, an advance unit of an imperialistic alien species named Kur ambushes Momo and her friends, hoping to use their spiritually charged bodies as batteries that would speed up the warping process of their main fleet. Okarun receives the worst treatment out of all them, being surrounded by six aliens that easily defeat him and put him in a comatose state, unable to move.
After the Family regroups in the basement of the Nagi Hospital to hide from them, Okarun mysteriously enters an astral projection form and picks up the phone ringing in the house, transporting him to Turbo Granny's while Seiko and the yokai are brawling.
Battle[]
Seiko spotting Okarun in his astral projection form.
Okarun is visibly distraught about what just happened as Turbo Granny informs Seiko that Momo isn't responding. Seiko, using her bat to slam down the monster, tells her to leave a message, stating that they are busy with work. Okarun screams out the lady's name and Seiko hears his whisper. Intrigued, she does an OK sign with her hand, finally perceiving Okarun while looking through it. Seiko is perplexed and wonders what happened, but while the boy tries to explain how they need her help, the yokai finishes charging up and directs a black smoke-like substance in her direction.
Seiko finishing off the Hokkaido Yokai.
She swings her bat to clear the black mist, but because the yokai is controlling it, she gets overwhelmed and engulfed. Okarun is concerned for her safety, but Seiko pulls a talisman out of the mist which starts blazing due to the presence of the yokai. She screams out that it took her three days to be able to use the power of the god of that land, which she intends to use thanks to the multiple charm nails she scattered around the battlefield beforehand. Upon placing the talisman, the mystical barriers activate and the yokai violently explodes, exorcising it. Seiko lights up a cigarette, thanking the god of the land for their aid.
Aftermath[]
The natural power of the spiral in the universe.
The old lady thanks Seiko for her work and they depart, although Okarun wonders what type of insurance would cover the damages of the building. Seiko brings the subject back to his condition, asking if it was caused by a second encounter with Reiko Kashima. Okarun explains that they were attacked by very powerful aliens which are planning to start a full-scale invasion of Earth in three days. He begs for her to hurry back to help, but Seiko declines, stating that she has to visit all the temples of the god of the land to thank them for their powers, even if Earth could get invaded first. She instead focuses on Okarun's astral form, pointing out that the cord connected to his real body is getting thinner and thinner, which will kill him if it's severed. Okarun is frightened and asks how to resolve it, but since Seiko has no idea how, Turbo Granny laughs. Seiko reminds her that if he dies, her powers will vanish with him, leaving Turbo Granny no choice to teach Okarun the power of the spiral, using it to follow the transmission cables' magnetic field and return home. After he leaves, Seiko tells Turbo Granny that they have to hurry.
Okarun will catch up with his friends and teach them about Spiral Power, which will be essential for them to defeat their enemies during the Kur Invasion.
